I was obsessed with this track at one point.... driving around, puffing weed+ smokes, straight up struggling in life, but jamming out to this. Good times but hard times... I don't even smoke anymore, but I am grateful for the trial and tribulations. It's never too late to change.. its a normal progression of life. Being stuck in the same old is actually the wrong thing.(for some people) Do what works for you!!
@@HerbalJah I wasn't just smoking ganja actually, a long list of other substances. And ganja can become addictive to some people and some people do abuse it! I went through periods of just focusing on smoking weed and would smoke 2.5-3.5 a day, and I know friends who are still dependant on weed to this day. To each their own. The whole lifestyle of it all isn't for me anymore. ✌

Honestly, this song is so good, it brings back memories as from when I was a child, well I wasn't born in the 80s or 90s or around that time but it makes me feel like I was I hate the stuff we get today, I am actually 13 and I plan to be a producer/lyricist and bring back hiphop and rap like this..

If it has rapping then it is rap music. Rap =/= Hip Hop. Hip Hop is the culture ya cringey normie OP. But I agree Trap music is so big & culturally independant from the rest of Hip Hop that it could be argued to be it's own branched off genre now. Like how many considered Punk or Folk to be separate giant genres that have outgrown or Rock music and are no longer sub-genres. But yeah the old skl Hip Hop is nice but the Trap stuff is also great from early Three 6, TI, Jeezy..to Future, Travis Scott, Young Thug and all the newer artists blending Trap with other styles. It's all good music though..east coast or west..trap, boom bap, jazz rap, g-funk, crunk, etc...even outside of hip hop stuff like grime in the UK is hard af too. Overall it's all great. But yeah I don't believe in that 'real hip hop' stuff.

This song invokes so much emotion, its like these guys are challenging realism and idealism in philosophy. I always pictured the late 90's as a laid back mature time in hiphop as the gun smoke clears and the sun is seen setting in the west after all the drama and gun fights in the mid 90's.
