You probably even don't understand, how many people you have helped through the deepest shit in their lives with your songs. I have survived multiple broken hearts, I've lost 4 friends in the past 2 years and I've gone through more in younger years, abusive parents, bullying in school.... Every time that I think this is it, listening to your music brings me back to life. Don't stop. I fully appreciate your songs, keep on going :)

My parents always say “hearing those depressed songs makes you depressed” but the truth is that these songs just describe my feelings and make me happy knowing that I’m not the only one going through hell in my thoughts... my parents don’t listen when I say that I feel bad and not worth of anything... this song made me happier, thank you!

That word "You are Enough" and "So dont give up" is such a relief to hear. You guys never stop giving us something to remind us all that we are not alone and we don't need to follow other people expectations. This hit so deep and relief me so much of everything i have on my mind. Every words, lyrics in this song just give me so much happiness. It was something i really need to hear. Man, this band... the last 10 years, ive seen immeasurable strife. From a small town hero, to trying to find myself, to propping up others more broken than me. Carrying a loved one through addiction, to taking on their addiction, to suicide, to homelessness, to nothingness... I can't remember a single time I've shed tear for what this life has robbed me of. I just discovered this band, and I've listened to 3 songs so far and each of them has surfaced emotions I've refused to deal with.

I've been dealing with the most toxic "friend" imaginable for years now. They always bring me down mentally and make me feel worthless. So listening to this helps me feel better and reminds me that I am who I am, no matter what they say. Worsened by the fact that It's impossible for me to leave them. Not because I'm afraid, but because I need them to see the only person in my life who gives me genuine joy. Without the toxic one, I lose them forever. And that's....not something I want, to put it lightly.

I'm suffering from symptoms of half a dozen mental illnesses, and I survived my own you-know-what attempt over a year ago. Still have the scars, probably gonna get more, and I just want to feel like I matter; just wanna be someone's hero. Day just keeps not coming. I've been lucky enough to have heard these songs & be a Citizen Soldier fan for a few years. I can't deny that I owe at least part of my survival to y'all for this beautiful music & your words.
