Citizen Super Titanium Armor Watch Review | aBlogtoWatch
Ariel Adams of aBlogtoWatch reviews the Citizen Super Titanium Armor watch lineup, shown here in three models: references CA7050-57H and CA7058-55E (both chronographs; the latter with hints of gold tone), and the three-hander reference AW1660-51H. Each features a Citizen in-house-made Eco-Drive light-powered quartz movement and, as their names denote, cases and integrated bracelets made from Citizen’s specially formulated Super Titanium, which is both 50% more scratch-resistant than steel and 40% lighter. The chronographs come in a 45mm wide case and are priced at $650 USD, while the 41mm three-hand model measures 41mm wide and is priced at $550 USD.

Thanks for the review. Industrial is the first word that comes to mind with these watches. The rotating bezel covering the crown and pushers is a novel design. I find the symmetry appealing. But, how did they achieve a sweep seconds hand on the chronograph? I have never seen that on a quartz watch. I would be very interested in a review of the Citizen Campanola line with Swiss movement by La Joux-Perret.

Very cool-looking watch at an affordable price! I'm with you I love Citizens look especially the futuristic models with integrated bracelets kinda Citizens take on Seikos Coutura range! They are certainly distinctive looking...

Love the video. I have both the three hand and the gold accented chrono. I will tell you the three hand is my daily wear and has replaced my hamilton khaki TI as my do everything. The video does not mention how light these watches are. These are watches that you will forget that you have on because they are so light. The lume is good at night. The scratch resistance is far better than expected and lives up to the advertisement. And I get many compliments on the style.... and I got it because it was plain... go figure! This is a good product.

Great look BUT BUT BUT - No half links. No micro adjustments on clasp, as you note I doesn’t fit you; you have to fit the watch. Pathetically tiny crown. Lug width 17mm. so choices of straps not great. Bezel is unidirectional - counterclockwise.

It's hard to find any information about how luminous the hands and markers are i.e. how easy is it to tell what time it is in the dark?

Is it really x5 more scratch resistant like they claim ? I mean 2-3 more is fair enough for that price , just asking I am thinking about buying a Citizen

Citizen's Super Titanium is the most durable titanium available on the mass market from my experience. Regular titanium will scratch and I've not experienced that with Super Titanium. That isn't to say that Casio and Seiko don't have their own quality titanium coatings, but Citizen is really at the apex in the processed titanium for watches category in my opinion.

They're only sold in the USA and Canada. You can find sellers on Ebay who will export them to your country, find a seller who includes import fees too and then you won't have any problems with customs.
