Dr. Sriprapha Petcharamesree a Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies, Mahidol University explains the State's expectation of uniformity of language, ethnicity, religion, etc to be a member and if different, then they are not treated as members of that State. This is explained using the example of such a situation in Northern Thailand.
