Bought a browning citori grade iii, which for me was a big deal because I don’t have deep pockets by any means but it was a beautiful over and under and I thought it’d be a great heirloom to hand down one day. Somehow the bolt that holds the stock to the receiver had fallen out and how is beyond me. Never had have I seen that happen before and I shoot old shotguns and rifles. When I closed the action the beautiful wood stock snapped in my hands like a toothpick. This gun hadn’t even had 100 rounds through it so it was devastating to say the least. Got a hold of the dealer the sold it to me and was told to call the browning rep. His response basically was that it was past warranty so tough. Couldn’t be bothered to help me find a replacement stock and I was willing to pay for a new one. He really couldn’t dismiss me fast enough. Zero help so her I sit with a $5000 paperweight collecting dust. I did find an aftermarket stock in the states but they won’t ship to Canada. I’ll continue to search I guess but if anyone that reads this could point me in right direction it would be very much appreciated thank you.
