Last week test drove ec3 , such an extraordinary vehicle . It has a fantastic suspension and seat positioning . It fealt like siting in a sofa in home . No body roll fealt at coners. It's a fun driven car for enthusiasts. I would personally rate 10/10 for this car .
People tend to accept the flap door handle in cars in value of near crore in BMW iX1 in the name of aerodynamics, but tend to hate when someone gives the same in the name of cost cutting.💁♂️😅
Actually what's wrong with flap type handle. I mean other than look is there any functional disadvantage? If not, I don't care about it, my wagonr has flap type handle and its very much functional.
No functional advantage, but car buyers nowadays tend to look for aesthetic appeal rather than functional usage. This is what makes selling numbers to a majority.
@@santhoshkalisamythere is a functional disadvantage. If you are alone and approaching the car with bag/packet in hand you won't have leverage to open the door in a flap type door handle. Citroen and its marketing employees know this but acting like it's not a big deal in the comment section.
Hello sir, i would like to know if this engine comes with timing belt or timing chain. I'd heard rumors that Stellantis had put a timing chain instead of timing belt from 2023 onwards. Is this true? Can you verify with the brand. This information is not available anywhere and you're the only youtuber that has actually made a review of c3 automatic. I'd been waiting for it. If I know that they've changed the wet timing belt to timing chain, I can peacefully make the purchase.
Hi @syedsteeldoorschennai9599 & @motowagon - is notched timing belt same as wet belt used earlier on Citroen's? ds-prod.citroen.in/static-assets/ds-static/s3fs-public/2024-09/Maintenance_Warranty_Booklet_CC22.pdf?WKwjkhRnN1bmHgNrsw1V5XzEMTvycSvo= as on page 28 it says notched timing belt... just wanted to understand if it is not the infamous wet belt anymore? and why they would need a notched timing belt in NA and not listed as a component in Turbo?
Thank you for the review! I believe this is the first review of the AT version. And I didn't realise I could understand Tamil until I saw this video :)
@motowagon.. I think citreon has changed to timing chain about one year back... Can you verify this? Also I feel they should have given rear adjustable headrests....its not just for comfort but for safety as well..
I'm a recent addition to Motofam. The content is great and the Nagercoil slang is cherry on top 😊 Any pointers about service experience from Citroen owners?
I m seriously asking to Mr.Asir is tat sun roof n wireless charging is essential for a car. I m continuously watching Citroen especially c3 aircross n from my point of view automatic AC is a welcoming add on. Mileage is a constrain if we are using manual ac n automatic AC is a better improvement of mileage. Along with I m expecting cruise control. It is a must add on for this car. What is ur opinion? I m expecting ur reply. N also door handles if anyone forced to open it will come along with hand. It's my personal experience bcoz my previous car is Alto 800 2017 model
try reviewing basic models or the second one. Asir. instead of top end or middle end...because except Nissan none of the manufacturer are adding value addition to the beginning models
Hi sir, Nice review as usual. I was the first one who did the test drive in this same vehicle. Also booked one . Very impressed with the car. Having one small doubt…the same engine being used with air cross and C3 with same torque level..being the less weight vehicle compare to Aircross, how the same engine will help c3 here?..is it advantage or disadvantage?
Would like to add a few more things about this car, as said by Asir bro, if a husband and wife needs to drive this then, a 360 camera would be really helpful. As well, I drive a lot on highways… a cruise control would remove the stress on my legs… if not they could have given it in the aftermarket… lots of brands are doing it, why can’t Citroen? Just asking.
This car literally has everything, accept proper headrests and armrests. If they fixed that and throw in a cruise control, this would be the complete package. No one can touch this.
Bro am ur longtime motofam …. I have one doubt , (ie) does after market exhaust like valvetronic or akropovic affect car mileage and performance ?. Pls let us knw the advantages and disadvantages.. if it is fine then mention what are the models we may use ..
I own the 2023 model top end 5+2. I feel i made the best choice. Excellent Car you cant have this much of comfort and dynamics blend. And to be practical i dont envy for tech as they are not functional as much as excellent mechanicals will. Service i dont have any issue im 100km away from the service centre if i book service they come and pick up and drop the car for a very very low charge. Service & maintenance is economical. Mileage im getting 12+ in city and 16+ in highway. You will not believe until you test drove back to back with other competitors. Whatever is there its working fine. For what i paid im completely satisfied with it. And build quality of the car is solid. I made the best decision of buying this at a point where there is mixed reviews but i went and bought and happy for it. Done 13k km till now. 3rd row is completely usable not that bad at all. When there is a need there is always an option to seat extra. Go ahead but do a check & test drive in all road conditions.
Does this car get rear seat load sensors? I see that the belts were buckled in. And I'm afraid they did cost cutting by removing the weight sensors in rear seats. Please confirm if it has load sensors
Boss I have heard comments as a budget Bmw...I have not seen u r reply comments...atleast tell u r pupils to do this Mr busy beee....senthilvel, kotagiri
Hi bro, MDI Minicat nu Luxembourg based company Air car design pananga ... andha compressed air technology and future la adhuku scope irkuma nu oru video / podcast podunga bro
I think at the highway drive part of the video, when Asir bro overtook the swift and did a kick down, the front passenger seat showed that the vibration of 3 cyl engine quite evidently. Was that true? Did you guys felt that vibration during kick down?.
Ippavum cross cutting irukku, but still it's late... Features munnadiye kuduthu competetive price la kuduthiruntha varumpothe hit aakavendiya car, very good point is its not CVT its torque converter 🫰👍
Need a podcast discussing, In a parallel universe if you were a key decision maker of a car manufacturer, what specs n features would your best SUV crossover/coupe like/sedan car under 15L will come with. In short, WHAT WILL YOUR BEST CAR BE LIKE?😏
Leniar a itukathu Anna kandipa compare to other auto this is more paowerful and manual will be more precise than hyundai creata and alcazar sleep in second gear.
Anna you were not clear on the decision part, as I am from Technical side and daily handling different brands, this segment Tata Punch tops in Safety, This C3 car over all good except for safety, Nissan Magnite and Kiger really feels very boring to Drive. Exter looks is personal choice but a good car and features.
In basalt you had mentioned they moved out from timing belt, but here on this video you are mentioning it is timing belt...? Also, how would this NA engine perform on Basalt and Aircross for casual family users would it loose the performance due to added weight and not as good as seen in c3? Appreciate citroen for understanding the purpose of fogs and providing halogen... How was the halogen headlight throw? Would like you to include headlight testing as well for all cars..
I'd like to know too if they're using a belt or a chain. in some UK videos they say that they did move away from belt, but idk if that's the same in India's case
@gifty6556 yea.. when enquired in showroom they said initial batches had belt in c3 turbo... and citreon did asa good will replace the whole engine with the timing chain model... one thing which is not clear to me is in which all models are they still using timing belts Also, would like to understand long term life of t/gdi engine ? If we follow service schedule..
@muthuvelp6251 Basalt is bigger and looks better and also the space inside is superb inside Basalt with better interior finishes. Boot space also is good in Basalt. I think comfort is slightly better in Basalt compared to C3 but apart from these almost all others are same in both of these cars. C3 is very well value for money car at first and Basalt is also good value for money car for that price range comparing to other cars in that segment. You can also compare the Top model and buy whichever is convenient for you.
Good evening jii....antenna ? !!!! Pl comment, or speak in u r podcast Ecosports ...only keyless entry is different in terms of electronics, but interior is same....I am a basic guy....decent music system....enough boss's...only engine, drive train, driveability....main mater...according to me happy...torque convertor also, manual....enough Most of the jiginaaa, silk screen section, jewellery decorations not required But key is a ?....atleast start button....this also is subjective....only when batery weakens, people will understand...I have gone through this...b' cos we cannot push, start in manual mode...forget automatics...
To show the potentiality of the car you are doing some maneuvers with disclaimer, no matter the disclaimer, people will tend to do what you are showing, its better to avoid as a whole and show in the video how we are supposed to drive, with maintaining safe distance, following lane change procedure etc. I repeat, it my sincere request politely to you to not perform stunts to show potential of the cars anymore.
@@Rubanleon without sunroof car kids can't compromise it's just 30k for sunroof optional and wireless charger also now many mobiles have wireless charging options, wireless charging we use day by day usable item!
@@Rubanleon sunroof is not for show off. You seem to have poor idea about why those are given. They are the best when driven in a cool climate for people to enjoy the advantage of the view or a light drizzle rain.
Spongy brakes. Not suiting the engine power and the chassis. Nosedive is prominent in rear seat under hard braking. Very poor. Other than that really competitive vehicle
