Muy buen video. Seguí los pasos punto por punto y se instalo perfecto. Si tenéis una pantalla diferente no os preocupéis, pero a la hora de programar los mandos del volante debéis conectar la pantalla del coche al wifi del móvil para obtener las actualizaciones. A la hora de seleccionar el modelo de coche no seleccionéis C4, seleccionar RAISE el modelo Peugeot 307. Mucho animo!!!

Hey hi! I happen to have a Citroën C4 myself, but it's a 2010 facelifted model with the built-in MyWay system. Do you know if this would still work? I have tried to look around forever but was not able to find out.

Hello. I haven't tested on MyWay but I think it will work, as far as I know the main connection plug is identical to the one on RD4. if you also have JBL from the factory, it will not be compatible.

Salut! Masina pe care am instalat unitatea nu-mi aparținea și nu știu dacă proprietarul mai are unitatea sau nu. Cert este ca eu pe una din mașinile mele am o navigatie Android care merge de aproape 3 ani la fel de bine.

Hi, I got visually the same model head unit presented in this video for my 2005 Citroen C4 Coupe, my unit seems newer and has android 10 or an imitation of it. The menus have less options then what you show. The seller hasn't been able to solve this but I have no sound. Canbus kind of works, as in the steering wheel buttons work and travel distance data is being transmitted to the head unit - but still no sound. All cables seem to be connected successfully, I have taken them apart multiple times and tried again. What I find odd is all the citroen Canbus models in the settings have 2008-2015 models, the ad said 2004-2008 - maybe the Canbus is incorrect for my car (I have Raise PSA-RZ-15)? There is also a RCA harness and I tried a 5.1 audio set speaker connected to the output of the RCA audio out, the speaker didn't even have a faint sound coming from it. No app has sound, not radio or Music or RU-vid, nothing. Do you have any suggestions what to try to get any sound? I tried all the Citroen Canbus options in the settings, all of them have the steering wheel buttons work, none have any sound.

Hello. It seems that on your Android unit the problem would be from the sound amplification chip, so a possible physical problem. Talk to the seller and send him a video in which it will be clear that your Android unit has no sound output.

@@AdrianDragan Thank you for the information. I was in contact with the seller, the seller is confident that their device is working fine and tried very little to solve the issue. Eventually the seller stopped responding at all and I ended up getting a 20% refund with no return, because the return shipping cost more than the device price was. So basically I am stuck with this unit to solve it on my own. My mistake was that I did not order from a seller with the most orders, and it seems I have kind of been scammed. You are the first person to actually suggest a hardware fault, everyone else keeps looking at plugs and android updates and settings that do not exist. I am familiar with electronics enough to want to look into repairing/replacing the broken part, so I will then open up the device and see what I find. It seems there is no other option really. Maybe I can bypass the internal amp and just get the sound signal from before the amp and connect that to an external amp.

I don't know how to answer this question because the car on which I installed the Android unit did not have rear parking sensors. Usually more expensive Android units are compatible with parking sensors, this is the cheapest unit.

Hello. You can keep the original screen by using the frame for it as you see in my video. I think the parking sensors could also be displayed on the Android screen if your Android unit has the PSA-RZ-15 Canbus decoder, although I'm not very sure about this compatibility. What canbus decoder do you have on your Android unit (that black box on the back of the Android unit).

Hi. Audio is the same as the car's original radio unit. Canbus decoder comes in a box with the Android unit, so you don't have to buy another canbus decoder.

Il funzionamento di questi pulsanti dipende dalla versione di Android e da come viene modificata, ma conta molto anche il decoder Canbus (quella scatola dietro l'unità Android). Sai quale decoder canbus ha la tua unità Android?

I have a quick question, the screen you removed to place the unit is usually used to display some information, like how much gas the car is spending, the status of certain functions of the car etc, but in the video you didnt really explore those functions. Do you know if theyre still possible through one of the apps?

Hello! 1. To be able to control the multifunction display you need the PSA-RZ-01 Canbus decoder. I think you will still be able to use the option to adjust the multifunctional screen from the buttons on the steering wheel. 2. As far as I know, the sound of the parking sensors will only be heard from the buzzer integrated in the canbus decoder. I think it might be that yes if you use a Hiworld PSA1.20 or PSA1.21 decoder the sound of the parking sensors could be kept in the original car speakers, this happened to me on an S5 unit with a Hiworld decoder installed on a Peugeot 508. P.S. Just as a small observation. I say it's worth spending about $30 more on the Android S5 navigation because it has a better CPU, more memory (64 Gb vs 32 Gb) better Audio processor. Foarte bune instructiunile. Mi-am instalat si eu o navigatie. Totul a decurs conform pasilor facuti de tine cu o singura exceptie. Nu reusesc sa setez afisajul cu multifunctiuni. Thanks for the detailed instructions. I ordered the new Q7 from this same seller. The raise decoder I got doesn't handle keeping the old screen. It freezes and keeps the headunit ON without ignition, so I chose "C-Quatre" and controls works fine (no Citroen logo available though) It's a 720p IPS, but it's a bad quality screen. The RDS doesn't work (only station's frequency) The frame doesn't stick perfectly to the dashboard (we can see it on your car too, and other tutorials on YT) there's always a play, and it wasn't easy to push the left side in. I can't make Waze work. It keeps looping on the "get started" step. Did anyone have this issue?

@@AdrianDragan thanks to seller's instructions, I resolved the RDS issue through advanced configuration (but It doesn't display the radio names on the list, I guess I can do with that) I added a customized logo too (they don't include it because of copyrights) The seller recommends also not using the old screen and the unit at the same time. I think the unit is enough anyway. The only issue is the Waze application (I think there are maybe hidden buttons on lower part of the application that I can't check to get past this step) but if it doesn't work I can do with android auto or just maps on the unit. Overall it's a good unit (for now) it freezes from time to time. But for approximately 100$ we can't expect perfection

Daca nu gasesti o astfel de optiune, in magazinul Play gasesti aplicatii care aplica filtru de reducere a luminii: play.google.com/store/search?q=brightness%20control&c=apps Cand pui sim-ul in suport asigura-te ca are codul PIN dezactivat. Daca este dezactivat si nu merge incearca sa ridici putin in sus pinii care fac contact pe cartela SIM. Dupa ce pui sim-ul in suport da un restart unitatii. Sper sa rezolvi problemele.

If it can help you... Try to change car model to "4008 keep the little screen" on scrolling down into car settings app and tick the box next "buzzer" under "navigation sound" on scrolling more down in the same app. U should hear the beeps but from the canbus decoder instead of the car speakers.

Hello Adrian, very nice video. It helped me a lot to mount the radio in my car, a 2005 Citroen C4 gen 1. I'm having a problem with the canbus decoder. The android radio came with a Raise psa-rz-15 canbus decoder, which caused problems of bliking with the car screens (only if I maintain the original LDC screen). Following your advice, I replaced it by the model psa-rz-01, but the problem still persists. Do you know if there is some configuration that I must to change? The options that I have in my radio canbus settings are a little diferent. I've tried to configure it as a peugeot 3008 (maintaining the small screen) and as a peugeot 307 (04-09) without success. I forgot to say that my original screen is different of yours. It provides information about consumption, car state, etc... Maybe I should replace it? Thank you very much

Yes, when you put in the reverse unit Android unit automatically switches to the rear view camera.

Buna Adrian, multumesc pentru tutorial ,acum vreo 4 luni am achizitionat si montat o navigatie pe citroen C4 de pe Ali Expres ,,Just Navi 2GB Ram si 32GB ,,si acum nu mai functioneaza touch screenul deloc .L-am resetat de la buton de multe ori si nimic .pot intra in el doar cu mousul pe iesirile USB .mentionez ca nici comenzile de pe volan nu mai functioneaza si meniul pentru canbus nu i-l pot accesa ,nu mai este ca la inceput cand l-am setat prima data . Ai patit asa ceva ?Ce as putea face in acest caz? Multumesc !

Salutare. Nu am avut asa problema cu unitatile mele Android, ma gandesc ca ar fi o problema cu touchscreen-ul. Totusi intreaba vanzatorul si vezi daca ofera vreo garantie. Sper sa rezolvi problema.

Hi. Your radio boots in 2 seconds. My needs 50-60 seconds to boot..!! Can i program something to boot faster. If i start the car i must wait 1 minute because the parking assistance dont work until the radio is on.

Hi. I think you have to look in the settings for something related to Standby, I don't know exactly where. What car do you have?

@@AdrianDragan C4 2007 HDI. The standby is only for 1 hour. Some other functions dont work. For example i cant program the second small display or the self diagnostic dont work. Is there any updates that can be done?? Can i download updates somewhere??

@@EfthimiouTheodoro Set the standby time in auto mode. The ability to adjust the original car screen depends on the Canbus type and if it is set correctly in the Factory Settings menu.

@@AdrianDragan Unfortunately there is no auto mode standby in menu option. probably has to do with the fact that mine has android 9.0 and yours 10. I tried with factory setting for 308s, 3008 and brazil C4. nowhere does it work. is it possible to upgrade the android to 10 ?? I have the small version with 1gb-16gb. Can i found somewhere an upgrade for the factory settings??

Salut. Din Germania sau din orice alta tara UE comenzile de pe Aliexpress se livreaza prin curier rapid direct la usa fara a mai plati niciun comision sau taxa vamala. De obicei livreaza cei de la Cargus.

@@AdrianDragan Eu doar am auzit in datile cand eram la posta vamala de persoane inaintea mea, care au comandat la fel cu livrare din tara europeana si vamesa le-a arunca ca nu conteaza, ca e chinez vanzatorul si ca se plateste taxa. Asa la 20-30 euro nu prea te temi, dar cand e cateva sute de euro, te indoaie cu taxe suplimentare. Dar daca la tine a fost ok de la vanzatorul arespectiv, macar stiu ca pot sa comand tot de la el, cand are disponibil din germania, ca momentan nu este. Multumesc de info

Cei care patesc acest lucru comanda din China si majoritatea vanzatorilor de acolo expediaza cu posta din Olanda, aici multi fac confuzie ca ar veni din Europa si nu mai platesc taxe. Asa cum spuneam comanda de pe Germania sau Polonia si nu vei avea probleme.

Hi, I did get the newer android 10 version of the radio (MCU is TS10.1.1) for my C4 2006 Sedan model . It has a raise psa rz 15 Canbus module. But after installing the radio the steering wheel buttons and the fuel consumption information work. But the car keeps going in self diagnosis or it reboots the dashboard and resets the 1st trip meter (on small display) . looks like the canbus module is letting the canbus go in error I tried all the Raise model options from the factory menu. nothing seems to work. Should changing the canbus module for a raise psa rz 01 fix the problem ?

Hi. These Android multimedia devices for the Citroen C4 were not designed to work with the original multifunction screen. The manufacturers include the PSA-RZ-15 canbus decoder which does not work with the car screen, but the PSA-RZ-01 decoder works with the screen. I recommend replacing it with the Raise PSA-RZ-01 canbus decoder s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_ANyJE3

@@AdrianDragan Hi, could you maybe share the APP which can control the multiinfo display? I watched your video, everything works fine except the info display control. I don't find the menu, because it's different than in your video, it has Android 10. I think it don't have that application.

@@HUNkiszebra The steeringwheel buttons did work the "touchscreen" buttons on the radio didnt work But i changed to a RZ-01 canbus module and now the radio is working fine
