Very thorough and you took the time! I would have added that you do not only add grease to the terminals, but clean both the terminals and the cable shoe nicely before reaseembling 🙂
Thanks for this amazing video. Once again you have given me confidence to tackle a hard looking job. My c4 is going to the dealer on Tuesday. It is a bit rattly (think its just the under trays), it also has a bit of a whine on the gearbox and I also had a warning message to get engine repair!! At least the dealer I bought it from says he will fully repair any problems his mechanics find. This is still under warranty as I only had the car just over a month. He is actually a nice guy (very rare). Take care. I will update.
@@fix-and-drive-diy-repairs well when i replaced my battery accidentally i put back screw on a wrong place and supposed to be placed little bit higher, now everything is fine
Is this the 1.6 HDI or 2.0 HDI? I am asking because of the 70 Ah mentioned in the video. Does this apply to 1.6 HDI? I found on the Internet that I need about 63 Ah for 1.6 HDI.
Hi and welcome to our channel. this is the 1.6hdi. It is not stop/start model. I bought a 70ah because my car is a Taxi so heavy use. For normal use, the 63ah is not bad.
