Hi Mary!!! THANK YOU as this is my thought with some of the influencers out there who say they love everything. I think they do that so they can possibly get free product. I see right through that. I like watching reviewers, but I ALWAYS go into a store to smell for myself. As you said every nose is different and luckily I do have access to a store. I'm looking forward to going into my local store this Thursday as I've only shopped SAS once so far.

@@marymakers For sure....Some have been saying SAS is already over as they were unable to find anything. I think the issue is when one shops all year round there is not much new for them to pick up during SAS. I always end up finding something. I also use SAS time for possible back ups. Last summer SAS towards the end I was finding perfumes for 75% off. I also found body care I missed out on like Fairytale in the original packaging etc. You just never know.

A lot of influencers “especially the younger ones” be on bs and are forever lying about these scents!!! My closest BBW is 24 miles away and I don’t always have time to drive there to smell the new scents so I go to my trusty Influencers *yourself included* that have never lead me wrong!!! 🎉🎉💜💜💁🏽‍♀️💁🏽‍♀️💁🏽‍♀️🥳🥳🥳🥳🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🤗🤗

I just want to thank you for being so honest about the scents and describing them so perfectly! I have to order online mostly, my closest Bath and Body Works store is right at an hour away so i cant just get up and go. I make it there maybe twice a month. So again thank you for being so honest and real!!! You are a doll!!!

Love your honesty regarding comparisons. I have one store close to me that I can walk to so never blind buy. Have occasionally bought a scent recommended by an influencer and than returned it thinking " what are they smelling?"

Thank you for being mad because sometimes we are too 😂😂😂 Honestly I have the amount of an influencer (except I'm not which is the problem just a collector) and I get so salty because I think I'll have a general idea of the scent and be totally thrown off.

I Love this as a citrus scent too. Picked up a few 75% off in 2020, I LOVE The 2020 pkg it’s so CUTE! I also love Bora Bora! I agree Bora Bora is a little different but very close. Dew fruit is something like Raspberry or a an exotic fruit , a standout punchy fruit with a green note and some aquatic. Grapefruit Frose didn’t go with my chemistry at all but a lot of ppl loved it. Ended up selling my Set on Mercari. They should bring it back though because there’s no other grapefruit fragrances out there at BBW. HAAAA THE RU-vidrs saying EVERYTHING is amazing!! Yup! I know her! 😂

I really enjoy Sunwashed Citrus and I have Bora Bora Citrus Surf as well. I was smelling them side by side on my arms the other day and after a while I could not tell them apart on my arms anymore. That being said, I did take into consideration that I had them both on my skin and I had been smelling different scents for a while that evening; my nose could have been tired. lol Either way I’m glad I have them in my collection, I love a good Skittles scent! 🍋💛

I always appreciate your honest reviews, because I think we have very similar taste and I can trust your choices. Grapefruit Frose is SO good! I only have about a fourth of a bottle left - I so hope they bring it back at some point, because it will be a sad day in my household when that bottle runs out!

I love my Bora Bora Citrus Surf. My nose isn't as trained as yours, so I do find BBCS to be very similar to Sun Washed Citrus (not exact, but very similar). Then you can throw Bright Christmas Morning in there as well as a slightly more distant relative for me. 😅 All of them are very fruit punchy vibes to me. I love them all. I have one bottle of BBCS lotion & spray left each and I am scared to use her because I don't think we will see her again. I wish Bali Black Sands Coconut would come back too. 😭 Great video!! I also can't stand the influencers that say EVERY scent is so great when it comes out. One in particular was oohing and aahing over Disco Daydream when she came out, the literally two months later has the very same Disco Daydream in their "give away declutter" video saying how much they hated it. 😐 I even went back to the original review to make sure I wasn't going nuts. I think some of these ppl just want to gush over new stuff too much, but like you said, if they aren't telling the truth that helps no one but the company. So frustrating. (I do love Disco Daydream btw. 😅)

There was one perfume youtuber who would do this all time. Constantly bought perfume, liked everything, told people to get xyz, and had several Declutter videos a year. But no worries, you can still buy them at a marked up price on their Mercari. 😂 Like... ma'am, you said you got it for less than $20 at Ross but you want $40 AND shipping. Please be serious. And they would all get bought. 🤣

Thanks for your honest reviews, your comparisons always cracks me up! I just got Sunwashed Citrus today, it was the only scent left from the sales at my BBW. This scent is absolutely delightful! I layered it with Vanilla Bean Noel and its smells really yummy. I think it would layer well with any vanilla scent IMO. 😊

I prefer the older version (the Lemon Pledge-y one) of this, which I never purchased but have borrowed from other people. I did buy it this year for SAS and it’s not a love except for the packaging. It gives me Orange Crush or sour candy vibes that I’m not looking for in this category of fragrance. I will probably only use it as a room spray to be honest. I have other lemon scents in my collection that I would reach for every time over Sun-Washed Citrus.

I had never gotten sun-washed citrus before, but I grabbed the body cream with a free coupon and it smells so fruity and good, I had to get the mist too, which I just grabbed when it went down to $4.95. I don't think the mist is quite as good as the body cream but I'm happy I got both. I think when I picked it up yesterday, I had a couple things on from testers so I wasn't fully smelling it accurately. I also love the packaging on the lemon ones when it's just transparent with the fruit on it.

I have the 2021 version of sun washed citrus, and I sprayed it side by side with Bora Bora and I honestly can't tell a difference at all. I really don't pick up any vanilla whatsoever in bora bora. maybe my nose just isn't as good as i thought it was lol.

Lets be honest, you and Keke are the only people who are honest about reviews. For example its super clear Bora Bora and Sunwashed are dufferent scent ls but Bonnie's keeps saying repackage. Thats a big assumption when they say repackage of something. I get so mad when I see people compare a scent with something that smells nothing like it. Bonnie is fun but i no longer trust her comparison 100% since she thinks Coconut Snowball and Sunslope are the same scents. Totally wrong.

People’s noses are completely off lol. The only scent remotely close to SWC is limoncello “Remotely” 😂😂😂 and I say that because limoncello has a mint note. SWC is pretty much in a league of its own. I think those people who say everything smells good when it clearly doesn’t are paid by BBW to lie to the public lol.
