This citrus icebox cake recipe is easy and delicious! Based on the traditional Mexican dessert "Carlota de limon," this dessert is made by mixing lemon and lime juice and zest into sweetened condensed milk and table cream, then layering the cream with cookies. A bit of cinnamon takes the flavor to the next level, and some cookie crumbles on top adds a nice crunch that contrasts nicely with the creamy texture. I don't usually make desserts more than once here on my channel, but this one is so good, I had to do an encore. In fact, this is one of my favorite desserts--definitely in the top 10--because it's so delicious, refreshing, and above all, quick and easy to make. It's the perfect summer dessert for a barbecue, picnic, or pool party, too! If you're looking for an easy dessert for Memorial Day, Father's Day, the 4th of July, Labor Day, or just because, this is one you need to try! 🍋🍈👨🍳🍰🍪😀
