I remember this Robert De Niro film he was playing detective NYPD homicide in city by the sea 2002 feature film there is a guy named James Franco he played in Joey

The last thing in the world Vincent LaMarca (my father) would do for me is take a bullet! He never did a single thing for me since the day I was born. He left my mother for the next door neighbor when I was four years of age and never looked back. He helped Warner Brothers make this movie and made himself to look like the hero. My mother was the one that was there for me, my father was absent and never showed up to help me when I was arrested, throughout my incarceration, nor when I returned home in 2013. He did ZERO.
