I found Theo Hosk amazing for citt def, took a few rallies and kept mixing the secondaries around, tried Made, Foro, Hosk, Bakkar, Bakshi, Emrys. Hosk had the best kill-death ratio i found, was vs a T5 max Sin/Frae with me being T5 too.

I wished you had explained the talent point "Fair Defense" in the Garrison tree that says force the enemy into a Fair Fight. It is still confusing to me

he already explained that in another video but basically what that skill does is, disable the unit's buff (for example unyielding rush, rampage for cavs etc) for you and the attacker of your city

What about Liliya + Alwyn using magic tree for Insult to injury? To my understanding, no other mage pair gets that synergy for continuous damage, Alwyn will do a ton of dmg because of his awakened skill and since you'd be defending a rally, most likely, the lack of AOE isn't an issue.

what if the primary hero on your wall is a physical damage dealer and the deputy hero on your wall is a magic damage dealer? Will that work?

My city was rallied previous season by Syndrion/Hosk and I defended with Theodore/Kinnara. I was very low on T5 like 1.7 million or so but got some T4 reinforcments. My Theodore was not even awakend yet and still they had to cancel the rally because there troop exchange was not in there favour. Theodore was not even on Garrison tree and not awakend.

TRUE! For early game he's fine. Late game epics are not a part of the conversation though

I could care less about Call of Dragons, and I never watch the videos. That said, I remember when we all found out that season 1 and a few seasons 2 garrison commanders only worked inside your city and got no bonuses in strongholds in Rise of Kingdoms. That screw up was excusable, because at the time Rise of Kingdoms made a city game where you ally together and if you wanted to fight you would fight other alliances within your kingdom. However, Call of Dragons was released long after the KvK rally garrison meta.
