their vocals weren’t the problem, they’re surprisingly stable, it’s that the setup was so awkward and non-sensical that the girls even visibly got discerned. they’re also not very good at hyping the crowd up. they’ll get better over time.

It wasn’t awful but it just felt off to me. It was giving me “High school dance team competition finals”.

they did good considering this is probably one of the first times they had a whole choreographed dance for their performance. y’all just sum haters. lemme see y’all do that.

Since so many are talking about the “bad” choreo, I think it’s suppose to mimic the 90s type of vibe because they sampled a 90s song (Planet Rock)… so dance battles and the old school type of dance moves. I loved the performance!

They did good. The way JT looked at Miami and smiled at the end was like, girl we Made It, and got through that performance. They just seem like sweet girls. 🤗

I love JT's Smile at the end of the performance! Whyyy was everyone trying to drag them? Im glad I just watched for myself. It was the sound. And its hard to dance and recite lyrics at the same time. They still did better than most of the Male Rappers! Girls just having fun!

They should’ve worn a different color than the dancers. Took me a while to find them in the crowd.

It was a very cute, energetic Performance. They have come a long way. They actually performed. JT really did good, I kept looking at her, you could tell she was happy to be performing. People always give Female artist the hardest time.

they shouldn't have had jt and miami dancing the whole time. not everyone is a dancer and there are background dancers for a reason. they should've also worn different outfits than the dancers. they should've had jt and miami doing something else not dancing the whole time. it don't look right. they need to work on they stage presence too. specially miami. if they work on these things i think they next performance will be better. they did decent for they first televised performance tho. seems like they didn't rehearse enough tho. sad bc the song is such a bop too

It’s their team…. Performance should’ve been tailored to their strengths and a good creative director and choreo would’ve adapted.

It wasn't the best but it had it's strong moments. The girls seemed to be having fun. With a bit more rehearsal and perfecting they could go a lot further in terms of performance.

The performance looks like the dance workouts the older women do in the aerobics room 🤷🏾‍♀️

I really hate that all the rap girls are being forced to dance instead of just performing live. It’s so confusing and distracting... not everyone’s is a dancer or twerker. 🥴

Idek why.. I LOVE THEM. But something about this performance just wasn’t right.. You got them saying “back up! back up!” to the backup dancers like they haven’t had an inch of dance rehearsal, to JT all the way across the stage and Caresha having to wait on her to run across in order to walk forward, to a delay in them taking the mechanical skirts off of them in the beginning. Sigh.

I want to give The City Girls, dancers & choreography 💯.They did a great performance. I know from experience many hours of practice & experience.Better than a high school talent show

I'm proud of their improvement of performance. They're learning to be more professional on stage. In this new generation of spending a lot of time displaying/maintaining a social presence on IG, Facebook etc...takes away from rehearsal, concentrating on their craft to perfect it. Parkwood Entertainment would be their best investment to get on that higher level.
