I was born and brought up there. I'm in Bangor almost every day. Glad you love it there and are settling down :)

Excellent! I was Born in Bangor and although I don't live there now I do work there every day :)

There's a few waterfalls around here and I would recommend visiting as the scenery is beautiful in north Wales. The towns and cities here are showing signs of decline these days because of underfunding by both the local authorities and our Gov. You'll find plenty of hiking and a great adventure outdoors. Hope you decide to visit :)

Hi, St Mary's was not in this video. St Mary's has since closed and has been taken over by a theatre company for children I believe. My mum and dad were married in St Mary's and indeed I was christened there too. 😊

@@OuterSpacesWales Hi thank you for reply. ,💙 Aww cool , same place as your parents ,☺️ Sorry to bombard you, I'm not 100,%sure it's st Marys , because all I know my mom was born in Bangor and brought up in Llanfair (longest place name) , When I was 10 we went to the grave of grandparents that was in 1985/6 so the little research I have done that it was St Mary's, So if they have turned at Mary's in children threater do you know what happens to the burial site ?. Also 🤦🏽‍♀️☺️ do you know where the local registration office is ?,as I know there are different ones 😳 Sorry again ( my cheek) 😂 but I have to ask questions in while I can 🤦🏽‍♀️😂 Thank you

@@medusa1340 No worries, if I can help at all let me know! I think the Births, Deaths & Marriages are in Ysbyty Gwynedd now (Gwynedd Hospital, in Bangor). There are a few graves in St Mary's but not a lot at all. Most people were buried at St David's graveyard not far from where the old St David's hospital was at Caernarfon Rd or the Llandegai crematorium by Penhryn Castle. Maybe there's another St Mary's in either Menai Bridge or LlanfairP.G.. Keep me updated on your quest and shout me if I can help with anything 👍

I remember We had to walk over the Bangor bridge to where my mom grow up, so this could give me a starting point, with church /registration office ect. As seems more like Anglesey.? @@medusa1340 hi just seen your question about St Mary's Church and there is a St Mary's Church in Llanfairpwllgwyngyll (place with long name)there are many gravestones in the church yard. Hope this helps your search.
