Now Gina wants to talk and be polite. It depends on who she's talking to. Everybody votes, not just certain people. We already heard this excuse earlier with the housing. We're not impressed. Where can we find a list of where all funds go in each district?
So, Joel basically, we can speak as long as we're not speaking directly to you. We all know this is the only forum that the public can speak directly to the council. You ignore and can avoid other attempts to communicate. These meetings are the only means for the public to speak to you all. And even in this forum, several of you clearly refer not to listen. The way it sounds, I wouldn't be surprised if the Ethics Committee is assigned by the Mayor's office. I wouldn't be surprised either if the council has no idea how that process works. The public doesn't know and I'm sure it's by design. Our community needs to pay attention to these meetings. We all need to share these videos and have others share so we can be informed for 2025. Right now our city is truly perishing for a lack of knowledge.
Ma'am, Reynolds doesn't want to hear about her daycare. For some undisclosed reason, Reynolds wants her to purchase a property somewhere else in the district. He probably has a buddy that wants to profit from her getting a property somewhere else OR that wants to open a daycare in this area. I guarantee there's an underlying issue that he'll never admit to for why he's pushing against it so heavily. It's not because he so wants to do what's right for everyone.

If the mayor appoints the board members, then the mayor and his administration DO play a huge part in the actions of the housing board. He appointed them. I don't understand how you all say things like this and think we're stupid. Y'all are playing games Ricardo. Come on now Stimpson and administration. Y'all went all the way around in a circle.
When did we vote in such a RUDE council! The audacity to talk to your constituents in such a nasty and condescending tone. Gina Gregory is our district person and I was just completely turned off. I don't care if he has come 20 million times. Isn't that what you all are paid for? I think more citizens need to watch these meetings. Most are probably like me and have no clue about how the council behaves on a regular basis.
Gina Gregory! Did y'all just holler at this man, elderly man. I am so shocked and disturbed. I understand that the pastor may have been off target, but you all are talking to people from behind that stand as if you too don't have to answer to God for how you talk to and treat people. Hollering and yelling, "Your time is up, have a seat!" Talk to people with a little respect. Where's the class. I'm just in disbelief. These videos need to be used during re-election time. It's obvious how comfortable the elected have become. And I hate the way you give the people three minutes, then attack everything they say if you choose or praise them if it fits your agenda, for an non-specific amount of time without any opportunity for the public to respond. This wouldn't be an issue if we could depend on our council person to speak up on their constituents behalves based on the heart and concerns of the people, but that seldom happens. Instead, you get a constant repeat of council slapping at and barking in unison at every comment they do not agree with or see as positive.
