Tribute Thursday!
This video is a homage to my great heroes - Rational Youth!
In this short instrumental version, recorded in one live take, I'm using only four synths and a drum machine. Se details below.
The bass and the 16th note arpeggio was sequenced with the Carbon sequencer and then transposed via the Sub37. The melody was played live and the 8th note arpeggio in the verse was sequenced on the Matrix Brute and started manually and stopped with a foot pedal. Everything was recorded live to Ableton. The reverb was added in post.
