Vasylkiv is a town in the Obukhiv district of the Kyiv region, located 20 kilometres south-west of Kyiv.
On 24 February 2022 a new history of this town began to be written. At around five in the morning, at the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, rocket attacks were launched on the Vasylkiv airfield, located to the north of the town.
This virtual journey allows us to dive into the past and back into the present, deepening our understanding and respect for this small town in the Kyiv region.
