It looked like I saw a Bangor Ladder in the rear ground ladder compartment . If so great to see that in these days of the Lost Art of Ground Ladder Work ! Excellent Rig with much thought put into its design !
@@stanleyshughart5914 A town I knew well. I had my elbows stitched in Carlisle after a slip from my bike in 1966. Has it changed much? Still have cousins all over the area: York Springs, Gettysburg, Idaville, Gardners.
@dbyers3897 it's changed. The old hospital has been torn down. A new one was put up out walnut bottom road. Alot of the farmland is disappearing and being developed. It's not the same town I grew up in
The bias against Pierce is illogical. They have won many municipal, county, state & defense competitive bids over the years which suggests they are not more costly although bid rigging & narrow specs may have occurred in a few cases. If an agency specifies loads of bells, lights & gizmos, then sure, the rig will be quite costly. This TDA is fairly basic & dependable. It will be more costly than a single axle, rear-mount aluminum body but in the end, you get what you pay for, barring the above mentioned unethical practices.
