I can't believe some people make the stupidest of assumptions. Like, what in the entirety of the match made you say this. He got the ball at his feet and scored. He had a clear chance and he whiffed one other. What's your point? How did you come to this conclusion, I just dont understand
@@chonkyboi._. You probably started watching futbol last week. Isak has been a top class finisher for years. One of the best in La Liga for a long time. Top strikers miss great opportunities all the time, bozo.
@@johnyusuff7973 been a part of the game since it's beginning lol. VAR should only be used for offsides. Leave everything else to the refs on the pitch.
@@moeswagger2329 Apart of the game since the beginning... Because there was no other choice. offside wasn't even a rule in the beginning, should we take the rule away now?? Nonsense. Var is not the problem. The game needs to evolve as it always has done.
It’s almost as if he’s been given an unlimited budget and been given a £40 Million and £70 Million Midfielder, £100 Million Defence and a £60 Million Striker
what kind of a team was city using? i didnt see kyle walker or haaland, phil foden or rodri, and i only saw jack grealish in the walk through the tunnel and in a few key moments, it seems like they were using their second team with a few players from their first team, like julian alvarez
City fan, 35 yo from Malaysia. Been suporting city since back to premier league. Some idiots thought back then, theres only arsenal, man.united and liverpool got fans. 🤷🏾♂️
Season ticket holder from the age of 13. I’m now 46. To say the least I’ve seen it all with city. I do like Newcastle as they had king Kevin who also managed city. Again congratulations to Newcastle and please beat United this time now we’ve give you the chance to do so. CTID
St. James Park is stunning and legendary stadium and i wish i could visit it once. I remember the phase when they renamed it for a season or two to"Spordirect stadium" ...im glad it didnt stand for a long. Comes from Manchester United fan.
Newcastle you have done extremely super job city out of carabow cup m happy so happy... really you have played superb football you deserve that win....
As a city fan congrats to Newcastle on a well deserved victory the build up for the goal was just incredible against city. Gutted about the strikers not being able to score on various good occasions!
@@hiphopapotamus69 still mad about getting owned in the final huh? City and Newcastle together still could match the achievements and stature of Man United
"Oh well, City didn't have their starters. We don't care." Mate, neither did we and we still won 😂. This was Citys game to lose and you lost it. Extended A Team not enough, huh? 😅
everyone asked how could they get any better but Kovacic is a prime example of experience, look at the start of highlight for Newcastle goal, he sees the pass about 5 secs before it played, tries to warn and move player over, then tries to cover it himself but alas no luck, that goal would not have happened if player he trying to direct (cant make out who it was) had listened EDIT...Ok, was Grealish now iv watched again haha
dynamic Midfield and defend interchange...this is city tactics... Newcastle made it to battle the same strategy... other teams should learn from it...but 2023 its surprising when other teams are just seen it..the quality of the player that its more about equal..need to go ground tactics and fought the same way...
City should be taking this competition more seriously. Newcastle look severly dangerous now 8-0 win at Sheffield. Now they beat the treble winning champions. Stadiums gonna be very loud in the UCL
its pep. he want to give more chance to B squad and he always did. do u know how messi shine its start from secondary competition then he become a main squad.
@@brandonthebot4652 Yeah mate nobody should celebrate beating cities B team, even though its probably still the third most expensive side in the league. Give over you absolute pellet.
Shots on target for Newcastle, 4, XG 1.12. Shots on target for City, 2, XG 0.56. And they had Foden, Kovacic and Grealish. We had Dummett, Targett, Lascelles and Murphy. Dwell on that little fact.
Your team is great. We all know this. Probably the best coached and expensively assembled team ever. Newcastle won despite all predictions, and deserved to do it. How about just applauding that. Won't happen every time
If Man City don't take this competition seriously because they winning it 6 times then they got some mentality problems but the really problem is they just can't beat Newcastle in this game. 👌
I think Pep is happy about getting out of this competition early. He needs all his players to have a go on this competition, he doesn’t so, I don’t think he would be that unpleased.
The way pep choose this line up I don't think he care enough with this cup. And I completely agree with him. I just prefer we go all out on Champions league and the prem, I don't care about the rest
City are so good that sometimes I even question if Pep purposefully got the team out of the cup to focus on the more important competitions. I know it’s not the truth but it’s just so bizarre seeing City lose. They’re that good 96% of the time
I always had the same feelings about Grealish after his transfer to MC, his desire and hunger for the game dropped to shambles the lad had potential to become your modern George Best but he became best in self-loving
Team work important and very good from New Castle..1 Trophy down for City 🏙️.. it's too early, but i sense city players will have some fitness issues this season..but after half the season it will start..And it is now that we will know if city will be the next dominant team in Europe...
