Known as the Alien Landing Pad, the remnants of McFarland Tennessee is neither a landing pad, nor does it have anything to do with aliens. But it was an awesome spot after a great day of off-road riding with my buddy D3.

It is such a nice area. It's my go to for when I don't want to drive the extra 1.5 hours over to Robbinsville, NC

@@DonkeyDongDoug I'm in Indiana, so it's about 6 or 7 hours to Knoxville. I usually stay in a hotel and leave most of my crap, then go do the dragon, skyway, suches, wolfpen. Just last spring was my first time to be on blood mountain. It was nice to have the double lanes.

@@JCrozier1 I've spent a lot of time in Indiana.. I'm sorry you live there, lol. Yeah, the passing lanes are nice. Vote for me in the next election and I will have them installed on all U.S. highways going through the mountains.

@@DonkeyDongDoug it's really affordable place to live. As far as off-road, we don't have any public land, only a couple places that you pay 20 bucks to ride their 700 acres or whatever. Some have camping and weekend rates, others you have to leave at sunset. I have the right bikes to play there, but I feel like I need something a little more beginner friendly before driving 3 hours to go where all the Jeeps and two-stroke dirt bikes are.

I think that's what I like about your style. You let the location talk and just add commentary. North Ga is like heaven after living in Atlanta 3 different times.
