Loved the suspenseful picture after the duck family - but then...! And although I have seen canals near the motorway when zooming past Birmingham (does the ham bit mean it was once just a hamlet? Amazing) I never dreamed there were actually people on narrowboats beneath me as I navigated that horrible stretch of road. I wonder if Gary did? tho in a truck he would have had a superior vantage point.

Graffiti is often an eyesore but graffiti art can be better to look at than a blank wall. A lot of towns actually commission artists to paint murals around the town to discourage random graffitists from making a mess on the walls because it is very expensive to keep cleaning off.
What a concrete jungle you were in! I hate graffiti. I think it's very selfish of people to take a piece of what belongs to everyone. I hope you won't do that as you grow.
