Dear friend I love how God used music to touch our hearts. Check out Rend Collective and Robin Mark. May God continue to draw you ever close to Him. I came out of a very legalistic church where it was considered a sin to listen or worship to anything but Hymns. I see now that God is so much bigger then that in how he reaches others to himself. Did you know that some of the old hymns are built around old tavern songs? I love that you're open to the newer stuff now, and I don't believe it matters one little bit what the song is built on or around (my church is a partly renovated Night Club!) as long as the message is glorifying God you sing it out and that is worship!! A contemporary worship station very similar to KLOVE brought me back to church after years of doing things MY way. We tried a new church, they were doing these songs, I recognized a couple of them, and I was done, I told my wife who had never gone to church regularly that we were home. And now I look back, about 12 years ago, we still attend the same church, and I've played guitar in the worship band for almost all of those years! Let the Holy Spirit move and be blessed! 'Shout to the Lord , all the earth; break out in praise and sing for joy! Sing your praise to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and melodious song, with trumpets and the sound of the ram’s horn. Ashuni Chachei We where living with my parents on there farm and the bank wanted to foreclose and I quoted a bible verse to the bailiff than 3 days later there was a warrant for me and my dad. They claim it was a death threat. So 6 cops raided the yard and found some guns and some fish that dad bought from a fisherman.

I'm also in thus type of situation. Seeing all my friends working and I'm still unemployed I sometimes feel low about myself. Asking myself why I'm stuck like this? But I'm always reminded by the Holy Spirit that God is in Control and in his timing things will work out. And that I should focus on God. Which gives peace. Thank God
