Really liking this very smart scooter = although I would half the height of the handlebars - I find them too high. Will we ever see this here in Victorian UK ?
To make this rather beautiful machine "Road legal" in the UK don't they have to limit the top speed to 29 mph due to some ancient law, thus ruining the performance of this lovely machine, in fact making it rather weak and dangerous,.spoiling it's viability as an alternative form of eco friendly transportation. Seems like an attempt to force us to keep on buying petrol for our fuel tanks and oil for our sumps. Tax Tax Tax rolling into the coffers of greedy governments, hurrah for money for nothing. Although systematic robbery will probably be put into place once someone has figured out a way to tax lithium. This is a wonderful progressive device albeit spoiled by that old enemy "Legislation". Don't let science be thwarted by government control aimed to destroy a cleaner environment, but demand a change in the law that makes these e-bikes and others like it a more attractive solution to the future of transportation within our country. This bike falsely limited in speed and ultimately therefore range makes it into a hip looking "Mobility Scooter", that is a great shame. Unbridled e-bikes have been common place, if not compulsory in China for more than 15 years in China, is it not we in the west who are living in the past?
