It's unwatchable these days. They have an idiotic, cackling woman in the background that laughs at EVERYTHING! The only good part of the show now is Sid. This whole video was made 25 years ago, with different people on the show, in a different building. That's not the same show that's on now, let alone what it gradually became with different hosts.
It used to be so blue collar. They had amazing studios on queen street west....breakfast television, electric circus, speakers corner! City was trendy af. The morning shows were so down to earth. It spoke to the average Toronto resident. And they flushed it all down the toilet.
The NewVR with Roger, Kevin and Bob were better content than City is capable of producing now. Step 1: no more voiceovers. Step 2: goto the news... Be 'everywhere' Be something we all can respect and revere. PaperCuts, Speakers Corner, Segments 'live on location'. Your bland, cookie cutter non-sense and complete lack of vision is crippling you. Do better. Escape Bell.
