I love all civs that ignore a weather effect, i think blizzards are worse than floods too because you can guard againt floods with dams Hojo Tokimune gets half cost holy sites too, but larva is still the only half cost holy site. Would fun to put hojo into russia for x4 holy site speed with civ blitz or another mod. Saw another youtuber say preserves go nicely with peter because in tundra the cities struggle to grow. Sounds fine in theory but you still need decent prodution to get preserves going and tundra isnt great for it either. The appeal bonus is nice though, tundra only has woods so it works there
Preserve peter is something I blanked on and forgot to mention, yeah you need production, but work ethic gives you that production to easily get at least the first preserve building online
Ethiopia gets crazy amounts of religion from Rock Hewn Churches. I do like your ideas about focusing on faith purchasing with the Civs who get a lot of it. Holy site beside woods, shrine, temple and Mahabodhi Temple is easy to do and the AI does not rush it either. Same with Stonehenge. The rush towards religions seems to have been nerfed.
Ethiopia gets a lot of faith and I do rank them highly, but their faith gain comes at a higher cost than Russia's, and takes more set up. Russia gets the faith almost immediately at the cost of one tile, where as Ethiopia needs to get it 4 or 5 civics in, needs to place multiple tiles, and needs to settle on hills to really make the best use of it.
That is true but once they start mass producing it and hit Monumentality they can buy almost anything. The odds of getting perfect Lavras on flat land with no plains nearby or only 1 mountain or other non tundra features is not that high without a few re-rolls. Either way faith purchasing Civs are fun. I am going to try Jesuit Education soon. Keep up the good work and I would like to see a Canada video.
I am Canadian. He gets incredible amounts of production from tundra mines, mills and woods and tundra farms ( food ) if you use it well or understand it. Food from camps with Goddess of the Hunt and Temple of Artemis is a great combo too.. Easy to make a huge powerful Capitol.
