This is one of my favorite mods. I wrote my own mod to balance it out though because the AI never took advantage of the districts and the player was greatly advantaged
This mod is kinda OP since there is no limit to how many you can build in each city and they just make bad tiles into good yields without requiring a population to work them either.
I would have liked to have seen you go for the "religious idols" pantheon (+2 faith on luxury mines) it would have been a nice change and you actually had 5 mines you could have easily reached. It would have been useful for monumentality.
Love the idea for this mod but I think they should be extensions to the districts (so you can only build them once the district is in place and it must be adjacent to the district) 32:13
Aaaaah no, where's the extra abilities units and things mods. Please bring them back. I mean tbh, please bring more content. 😂 I'm struggling right now and your uploads are helping as always. I just crave more crazy Ursa civ.❤️ Thanks again brother
Personally I think it would be cool if civ had dynamic abilities like Meiji restoration did something different before the industrial era like give farms +2 food to prepare cities for the industrial era district spam since Meiji restoration would be normal then(it should be called feudal society since Japan was feudal before Meiji era)
I have tried to play with this mod installed and just keep getting an error message saying to uninstall mods and try again whenever I load the game. I have no idea which mods are causing the problem, does anyone know if this mod is incompatible with anything?
Aw dang, those crabs got their claws chafed by the hurricane! What a shame! Certainly not tasty or mouth-watering at all! Gotta say, as nice as this is for Japan, it would kind of suck for Korea.
If you do try this mod with wide and tall, I feel like you absolutely need to further combine it with the mod that lets you use out to the 5th ring as well.
Oh this mod is really interesting! It’s also seems fun, that I can bulld more than one quarters (e.g. those science quarters in Tokyo). Soon I’ll have my own pc, then I will definitely try this out. Thank you for showing us, Ryan😊
*WOOOOoooo at last. I hope my constant annoying requests on a million videos helped you to decide to play this mod lol. Hope you are enjoying it. It took me a few games to get used to it and trying different things to get the most out of it. Hope this won't be a one only game lol. So, what about project metro.. ahh ok, I'll feel lost now not writing this after every comment now lol* 👍💪
This is why civ6 is still so much played and so much loved almost 10 years after its release... The mods. Don't get me wrong, the game base is already very good, but with the mods, you can do whatever you like! It's like you had 20 games in one. Here we have Civankind lol
Oh man, in my german twitch/youtube bubble, there seems to be a civ6 tournament every week lately, practice stream-sessions from my favorite streamers every other day, your daily videos... and i want to play too. Life can be hard... Still really enjoy your mod series. I actually just wondered if people like you or f.e. sukratec are ever approached by the developers, for ideas and stuff. Or are people like that not on their radar?
If you want slightly broken builds, you could try the mod infinite civilization, which lets you mix and match leader ability, Civ ability, unique unit, … My personal favorite is Last Best West + Mother Russia, but there are a lot of options !
I commented this in the last series, but you can update your yields by locking/unlocking tiles in a city for a citizen to work on, which I find is significantly better to do than cycling through a city telling it to focus/ignore a certain yield (especially when the game sometimes lags as you do so, meaning you can sometimes accidentally leave it toggled to ignore). Also generally faster to do imo.
I definitely prefer the look of these new districts and the building sprawl over what we have with base game districts - it actually looks more like a city I’ve only tried the nerfed reworks, so this will be interesting to see how balanced the original version is
cheers, entertaining video as always ;) In every video w/ mods you always say "all the mods that i use are on discord", but the channel "civ6-mod-list" on discord was last updated 2021 and ends with "Q: Why does UR put his mods here rather than on his video descriptions? A: Because now you're here looking at them. Welcome!" There are quite a few mods in that channel, yet none recent, hence joining the discord for said mods will follow disappointment and one will probably not coming back to discord. i enjoy the videos tremendously but that above fact always ticks me off on the start of the vid, so i wanted to adress it at least once.
Careful of the discord last updated as it's never right!! Often it refers to when I make major changes to the messaging, not small changes within the text of a message. We've noticed that on other channels I actually updated the civ6-mod-list list 2 days ago so it's all up to date. That thread is just for the UI mods I use as those are all interchangeable, you don't have to use them all If you're looking for the gameplay mods you need to run save files, same discord but separate channel called civ6-save-files, those you do need to match to run the games so I list them all each time Hope that helps to clarify! I know it's weird keeping the mods split into two lists but it just keeps it simpler, separating out the essentials from the UIs = )
@@UrsaRyan HI, thanks for the quick response. Bit confusing that mods are listed in "civ6-save-files" - as i wasn't looking for a savegame but for mods i never did check the channel; thanks for clarification. Could i suggest to put a quick note on the "civ6-mod-list" channel? I hope i wasn't the only one confused/hindered by that. Also shoutout to you for listing the mods separately in the savegame channel for easy downloading =]
