Civic Center Celebration of Life 

Ahead of the planned demolition of the Mobile Civic Center, we held a “Celebration of Life” for the 60-year-old building on August 21, 2024.
One thing that was apparent throughout the celebration is that this building has meant something to so many people from across our community. While the building has been the backdrop for many joyous events, what matters most are the memories that were made there. We want to keep those memories alive. We are also lookin forward to future generations of Mobilians continuing to make memories in the new civic arena that will be under construction in a few short months.
