Was this Kswapped when you put the deadening material in? I did it to my EK but ran out and waiting for more. My whole car rattles like crazy and I hope itll help calm it down a bunch too.
No. I was still on d series. I still have more I want to put around the car but the rattling is from the dashboard. It could either be loose bolts or loose parts. The sound deadening is only used to quiet down noises from the outside. That’s what I learned from doing this.
That’s weird lol. Haven’t drove the car to much so I haven’t noticed. I’ll keep an eye out. And I believe I got 36 sqft. Still have maybe a bit less than half of the box left for the rest of the car.
there is a chance that its leaking from a rusted spot that develops in the wind/rain channel on the roof. its under the strip, where it meets the windshield. mine just started to leak as well. and by random luck, i had the windshield replaced and the installer noticed two little holes developed in the corners on the pillar, i had them filled and seems to have stopped the leaking.
I don’t remember. I think I ended up buying the small rustoleum paint and I just used that instead. So like about 2 spray bottles and one small gallon of rustoleum paint
I got it made by a person in tj. I don’t know if he is still doing them though. I will probably make a video in the future of how to do it since it’s just overlayed
