Is it true that the 10th Gen Si coupe is quicker than the Sedan version I've heard ppl say it was And which ones better the 2019 with longer gears or the 2020 with shorter drive gears ?
There’s only about a 20-30 pound difference between the coupe and sedan. I’ve never driven the 2017-2019 Civic Si but the 2020 version with shorter gearing feels really good. Having the shorter gears also helps for faster acceleration. I would recommend you the 2020 Si it’s just better overall. You get Honda sensing (safety features) , shorter gears, better looking interior and exterior, including jewel headlights with LED’s, led fog lights and better looking wheels.
I own a 18’ coupe but the difference between the coupe and sedan version would literally be milliseconds bro. Very very small difference. And if milliseconds on 0-60 time is what you care about than you shouldn’t be buying a civic anyways its not a racecar.
I thought the old school ek would own us but I guess 10th gen is good until we are against 400 super charged or turbo hondas. Until that fateful day. Lol
I thought the same thing especially gutted, but with all that torque the Si has I just left him behind by a couple cars. But in the last race he was reeling me in pretty quick at about 115-120mph but I still got him.
@@Dimelowcrew Yeah stock turbo needs help high end. Lol. Pretty sure his turbo is bigger than ours so it has a slight lag. 115-120 is pretty long race already. Anymore would need longer distance. Majority of my races are in the city on the streets. So to play it safe 115-120 is where it says it. The faster we go the harder and longer to brake unless we get the big brake kits to stop faster.
@@10thgensiracingI’m pretty sure they’re the same speed as the FK8 type r. Throttle house posted a race between the FK8 and FL5 type r and the FK8 walked it from a roll.
