I love that Civivi is doing so many varieties these days. For that price the Chiro looks fun, not my jam, but I get it. And T8?? The designer likes people apparently!
I actually just returned the Varius on account of the front screw on the handle not coming loose, it's just that simple. The back screw took some effort but the front just would not budge. It's worth mentioning that they chose to go for double sided T6 here and you'll need to put the blade in a workbench and use two T6 screw drivers or you will hurt yourself. I'm 100% convinced I would have stripped the screws before they came out. In order to not void my warranty I called it a day and sent the blade back.
CIVIVI please make new titanium clips to fit your newer models that have an inset spot for the clip. The inset spot makes the ti clip sit way too low and far too tight on a pocket. Just make new ones that are a little taller at the screw area.
The D2 train has left the station, and I'm not getting on it again. The rambunctious Chiro is great for Halloween carry. Too bad they didn't offer the fixed blade in a better steel, looks great.
Whoever designed the Chiro is way, WAY too into concave curves. They need to have an intervention for him so they can sit him down and calmly explain that sometimes smooth lines are OK, too.
I would carry the varius if the blade stock wasn’t so thin I would prefer the negligible weight gain for the better durability if it were 4mm instead of 3mm thick
