All that was legit. He did play behind a pro bowl level O line and did throw to world class receivers. He did bomb the smart tests. And all that matters for normal guys. It measures how much you will be able to teach them. What their ceiling is. Then some people are just special. There is nothing to teach because its all there naturally. I had CJ and AR as being worth a first round pick. Lot of hate for AR too. And even Bryce. Its just a part of the process. Picking apart the draftees and highlighting the potential issues. Pointing out the negatives. I'd bet its going to stay that way for your lifetime.

Respect to the Bucs team and the way Baker played today. He played a large part in the Texans needing the late game heroics.

And then to also have Trevor Lawrence and Will Levis in the division as well, it really is exciting to be in this division. I feel like the next couple of seasons especially will be competitive as hell and a lot of fun to watch. I feel like the Jags have their franchise QB already, and as long as Levis, AR and Stroud continue to develop and improve (easy to say), any AFC South team could win it all. This is coming from a Texans fan, by the way.

The top ones routinely come from podunk schools and second tier major conference programs.NFL success has next to nothing to do with where you played college football. Has everything to do with the individual player. How many good to great NFL quarterbacks has Florida pumped out? Alabama ( pre-Hurts…starting last season)? Texas? USC?

Haskins was incredibly talented but immature and failed in DC before dying tragically. Fields was drafted into the most thankless position imaginable and, God willing, will be freed from it soon, and have a real opportunity.
