I'm a Saints fan, but I live in Texas, and I'm actually really happy for Houston and for C.J. I've got a soft spot for the Buckeyes after living in Ohio for 5 years and watched all of C.J's games, and seeing him succeed and adapt to the NFL is so awesome. He seems like such a really nice and talented kid, but now lets just hope Houston don't ruin him like Chicago, NYJ, Cleveland, and others have ruined QB's. I'd love to see Houston build a team on par with Dallas or better because I get sick of hearing how Dallas is "The" premier team in Texas throughout all sports lmfao. Edit: I'd like to add that the Mavericks, Spurs, and Astro's have all won championships in their perspective sports except Dallas, but the Cowboys are the "premier team" LOL.

He's been like this since college. I spent 2 years arguing with other bone head Buckeye fans on twitter and Facebook and they never stopped criticizing the guy. They were even a part of the pre draft criticism he had with some going as far as saying they were glad he was gone. It was sickening. What makes matters worse is this year we have a QB that is not even close to being the player CJ is and some of those same fans have been making every excuse in the book as to why he isn't playing well.

This is a long comment and little bit of an emotional comment/ moment for me. So I apologize in advance. I’m a diehard patriots fan from Houston. But I’m always cheering for the hometown team. Texans haven’t had all the pieces at the right time. But I’m excited for this kid, the hometown team and thrilled all of my friends and family will have someone to cheer for hopefully 10-15 years. As a patriots fan, I absolutely LOVE when we come down here to play. It’s so electric and the mini rivalry we have is so awesome! and before anyone says anything, no I’m not a band wagon fan either lol. I was born and raised an oilers fan. They left home when I was 8 almost nine. My brother and I were extremely upset about it. So we picked new teams. He went with the bucs and I went for the patriots. Two years later this guy named Brady started for my team and won us a Super Bowl. The next year the bucs won the superbowl. Then we repeated and I have never thought twice about another team. As soon as the Texans came to be, my brother switched to the Texans and I grew up getting picked on for not being a Texans fan, since I’m from Houston. On the 21st of this month it will be a year since My older brother who was only 37 passed away. He taught me everything he knew about sports which helped launch my love for football/ baseball/ boxing/ MMA and a few other things and that is what launched my “ career “ playing semi pro ball for a few seasons. He passed during the ALCS and he and I would always text about the games. Our last message was about how good the Astros looked and how confident we were that we were going to win it all. Unfortunately he didn’t get to see us get the second ring but his favorite player on the team won MVP. The Texans have sucked and been through a lot since they came into the league and had some good players/ teams but something about this kid and what they’re doing here down in Texas is amazing. I would give anything for him to be here watching CJ lead this team and be exactly what this city had wanted and deserves in that organization. So while I’ll never cheer for them over my patriots. Im hoping this kid can take this team farther than they’ve ever been and as long as we’re not going up against each other or if they go further than the patriots. I’ll be cheering for them extra loud. A little for myself and my hometown but mostly because of him! I love and miss you, Christopher Blaise and hope that you’re up there smiling down upon us and watching your/ our teams do so well. But above all else. I hope you’re up there dancing on streets of gold, singing and worshiping our messiah with no pain, no suffering and just pure happiness. I’ve got things under control down here and your baby girl is in good hands. You just keep shouting and save a spot for me. Can’t wait to see you again and talk about everything that’s happened between last year and then! To close out. Everyone that took the time to read this, thank you. Please hug and kiss your loved ones as often as possible. Tomorrow is not promised and you never know when your time is up. So make up with those you have been holding a grudge against, forgive those who have wrong you, ask for forgiveness from those that you have wronged and cherish every moment you get to see and spend time with them. Life is too short to go about hating one another. So I encourage you to make a call to that person you love but haven’t spoken to in too long, even if it’s just to say I love you. Because no matter how you have with one another. It will never be enough for those who go before us. God bless y’all! 🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. Your message is so beautiful and so true. Every morning when I leave for work I hug my wife and little boy and tell them I love them. And while I hope and pray and do everything in my power to come home to them at night I also understand that nothing is promised and time is fleeting. We must cherish the time we have and strive to make the most of every moment because we will never know if that moment is our last. God Bless.

As a Ohio State fan, I was 1 of the fans that didn't want him there at first. I just couldn't understand his game and why he would never run. We ran RO's every game and he never kept 1 and I felt it was the difference in a W/L. Time goes by and I start to see him make deep out throws constantly on the dot. This kid is scary accurate and now at this point in his career he is choosing to run the ball. He is a mvp caliber player if he continues to just run a little and keep the D honest. Arm talent is top 5 in the league and it's going to be top 3 in 3 to 5 years. 📌

Yes, and he should have won the Heisman in either one of his attempts. Voters were driven by Ohio State's losses which were on the defense and not on Stroud or the offense. I recall the first Heisman ceremony where that Michigan Homer Desmond Howard, who is supposed to be impartial during such a prestigious event, taking the opportunity to trash the young man. It was so embarrassing to watch him behave that way towards a 20 year old over one win in 20 years. CJ showed him who was the more mature person by not crawling down to his level. I'm rooting hard for CJ to succeed in his entire career.

CJ threw for nearly 500 yards against Oregon. The defense allowed the ducks to run the exact same run play over and over. We were down 14 and cut it to 7 with a chance tie just before halftime but Olave dropped that deep bomb on the left side on what would have been a walk in TD to tie the game before the half. CJ was not the reason we lost that game.

The only thing I don't like about that stat is that media keeps acting like those other guys did it to their rookie year. I vividly remember manning throwing 3 picks his 1st game😂. They need to give this kid his correct flowers and explain this is the greatest start to a qb career in NFL history.
