Most of it isn't English. Some of it is pidgin English, some Igbo and some Nigerian slang lingo. Even some Nigerians may not know all what he's saying when he switches up the dialects. Only a person that speaks all of the languages and lingo used here can understand every lyric on this song. Beautiful art!!!

thats Nigerian pidgin english he is speaking. Pidgin English is a combination of english, little portuguese and different nigerian languages from various regions in the country.

Well done, a lot of Nigerians these days don't even realize their creole blends Portuguese with Nigerian languages (like Yorbuba, Igbo, Hausa) and English and don't know their 'pigin enlgish' is actually Nigerian creole at this point.

Any Portuguese will be from SW as the Portuguese first colonised the Lagos area not all of Nigeria, at that time there was no such thing as Nigeria. Even when there were protectorates it was under the British not the Portuguese.
