The backup dancers are actually ReQuest, a part of the dance megacrew Royal Family (they have extremely viral routine videos), the choreographer is Parris Goebel, she's worked a lot with kpop idols, especially from YG... and yeah CL is definitely a fierce queen, she hasn't been able to put out music in a long time due to obvious conflicts with YG, hopefully she'll get out soon and find a better label

I almost fell out my chair laughing when you said she has to be some sort of badass because she has holes in her tights and she doesn't care. I really hope that the rumor that CL's contract ends with YG this year are true so that she can go elsewhere and actually put out more music, more specifically a full album. I saw other recommending reacting to her other singles and I'd also recommend them as well as 2NE1, her former group and my favorite female group. She performed this at the 2015 MAMA as well as performing with 2NE1 and they always had amazing performances but hands down one of my favorite awards show performances and their last time performing together.
That creature right there is the OG badass kpop female rapper. 2NE1 started this whole trend of girl groups having straight up badass concepts. They inspired a whole generation with their empowering music. CL is hands down one of the best artists i have ever come across. This women can rap like a beast, sing like beast, dance like a beast, perform like a beast, she's an all rounder Goddess. She's the OG Yg swag. I will never discredit third gen artists but, when youngons try to act badass just because they're rappers, i always miss artists like cl. I miss the time when kpop idols filled the stage with their personalities and not just practiced routines and back dancers.

They were so iconic! But YG has mistreated and just was not organized in the way he handled the group. As in everyone assumes Asian women are all cutesy and Hello Kitty now the double meaning of being tired of being tryin to only talk to her kitty is there too. The killing line of the piece that EVERYONE misses is "He want me to love him long time and I tell him no" is a reference to men using that line from Platoon to hit on Asian women.
