I enjoyed seeing this reaction. CL is a full on performer, she will rap bar for bar then switch to singing a ballad very well, then do choreography. Her best skill is stage presence. The first song is The Baddest Female. She likes to start her performances with that song. CL fans are called GZBs after the Korean word "gizibe" meaning "bad girl". MTBD stands for Mental Breakdown, so she goes crazy on stage. CL's Killing Verse is a great intro to her solo music, as she performes parts of each song live, then you can choose what full songs to react to. CL has worked with Diplo and Skrillex and she and 2NE1 have worked with Will.i.am and were supposed to have a US album produced by him but for unknown reasons, it was never released (you can see them work with him and recording in 2NE1 TV). CL features on the Black Eyed Peas song Dopeness. CL returned to music last year following a 5-year hiatus in which her company did not allow her to release any new music. She was supposed to work with Scooter Braun (big US manager) on her US career and even moved to LA, but again, that US focus never happened. She did, however, release Lifted, an English song inspired by Method Man. If you like CL, you'll probably like Jessi. She's Korean-American from New York/New Jersey. I recommend Who Dat B or Drip for starters. She's known for her rapping and outright and real personality and for saying what she thinks. Chungha is also an amazing performer. She just released Bicycle the other day. Stay Tonight, Dream of You, and Play are also my favorites.
