what happened to her fandom? I've known about 2NE1 for a long time but I never really followed them, just saw a few performances of them here and there and then some solo stuff, but for chaerin is she changing her sound or how come she's getting more attention now?

@@frozenwoods863 she's been deactivated for 4years the company (YG) holed her back! The album alpha was going to be released in 2014 . But it never happened and it released in 2021 by herself. In this years most of her fans left her alone. And now it seems that CL and her fandom start everything again from the begging! The fandom is rebuilding

@@frozenwoods863 she was inactive and wasn't able to release proper music (or wasn't allowed to by her former agency) for a LONG TIME (4-5 YEARS) and basically you can't do that in Korea because the fans quickly move on and look for newer and more active idols. But of course, the most loyal GZBs (her fans) and Blackjacks (2NE1 fans) stayed but are no longer able to do "avid fan" activities like mass streaming, mass voting, etc because we are busy with our families and work. Now that she is active and free to release music, I really wish she regains her older fans and gain new and younger fans because she deserves it now more than ever (as an independent artist without a huge label backing her up).

She's starting over again, what a wonderful time to see how slowly she is taking back her crown and throne. CL is the moment. 👑🍒🆑

I really like rappers who write their own songs, and let their fan interpret their songs using the rapper’s identity. Your interpretation really fits CL’s identity, but since her lyrics are abstract or metaphoric, it could be viewed differently by other people, but everyone will still interpret it based on CL’s identity.
