@@bigtractorpower yes it was previously set by the 760tt held business world record for most bushels combined in 8, 10, and 12 hrs intervals. It was set previously by the earlier model 760tt

Lexions are solid machines.

Agreed, from combines to choppers to rigid body tracked tractors and the Big M's, also balers etc. and they've been leading the pack in engineering for most of it too.

I film all brands of combines. The Gleaner S series by far has the cleanest grain and least loss. These new Claas combines are monsters. If you want to move a bunch of grain in hurry with a quality return the Lexion is hard to beat. The track system really sets the Lexion apart.

@@bigtractorpower we tend to trade combines ever 3 seasons or sooner . We farm 8000 acres between our land and custom farming. Some years we cover 10 to 12 thousand acres with the combines. We like the deere machines but they wear out faster and have a poor corn sample compared to case or gleaner . The gleaners are simple machines that hold up great but they couldn't handle a large head until in the last 6 years or so . Case machines are nice for capacity and corn sample but like deere they wear out fast . We think the claas has the capacity grain sample and wear along with better technology. Only time will tell if we lease a claas but if I get my way we will at least demo one for both corn and soybeans this next fall . We demoed one last fall for a day but it was in corn not soybeans and soybeans are our main crop.

The Lexion is a solid machine and does a nice job quickly.

Terra Trac tracks are really good.

The wiper runs 360 degrees around the window. From what I have watched in the cab it works well. It has been a staple of their cab design since 1998.

Yea, that's always been a bit of a pet peeve for farmers, but I think most have gotten to where they can overlook that little flaw...I mean, in all fairness, the wipers do work really well.

@@stirv6462 Traton is using both Scania and MAN engineers to develop engines so they don't duplicate efforts. They are working on a 13 liter Common Base Engine (CBE) to be first installed in Scania trucks in late 2021. They will later be installed in MAN trucks. I'm sure off-road versions will end in combines, tractors, etc.

Yes. They offer 60ft models in Australia right now. In North America 50ft is the largest width at the moment. A rolling field like this would not work too well with a 60ft.

I did not know that. That is interesting. In the North America they used Caterpillar engines through 2019.

If I had to guess it has to do with emissions requirements for certain countries.

Cat owns Perkins if that helps. In the U.S. the partnership with Cat to market Clas is the reason in the US.
