I have inherited an old 80 and wonder what lever to pull to raise the head/cutting table? On the right of the seat there is a eight position hydraulic lever but I cannot get any of the positions to raise it. It has been standing since the autumn of 2017, which means the hydraulics can have jammed somewhere or I am pulling the wrong levers.
Its been a long time since i worked on these but i used to service quite a few every year. Those levers are the ones but if none are working it sounds more likely that theirs no oil in the hydraulic tank. Also check the pump belt. Although without looking i couldn't tell you exactly whats wrong. Most of the time it's never anything too serious.
