Haha thank you! I also have up on youtube my videos of Chopin's fantasie-impromptu, his first ballade, and rachmaninoff's c# minor prelude. I do have a strong classical background, thanks for noticing! Unfortunately all of the other classical videos I have up are me playing these pieces far from my best. it takes hours upon days of practice to play those pieces properly, especially the ballade, and i haven't practiced or really played my classical repertoire in years. but check them out too!
This is beautiful, I love seeing how different people interpret this piece as there really are so many ways to play even the simplest of bars. You make the dramatic and fast section of the arpeggiated section look so easy, I'm very jealous of your classical background. As this one of my favourite classical pieces I've a version of my own on my channel that I'd appreciate any feedback from yourself on - Have a nice day :)
I played a few notes/chords incorrectly and some classical snobs who only care about if you play what's written on paper properly disliked it if I had to guess. I think there are more important things in playing piano than playing every note correctly personally. Plus this was only after 2 weeks lol
I love this! I appreciate it. I used to play classical when I was younger and though now I mostly play modern music I still love hearing some good old fashion classical music. You are my favorite youtube pianist
