This video was so supposed to come out August 2020 to celebrate Olivia’s fantastic 5 year journey as Claire and the amazing performance during Claire’s downward spiral that earned her a Daytime Emmy! but so much happened and I got uninspired but anyways it’s here now and I hope you all enjoy!!

Duela was allowed to be a hero, though. Claire was basically used and thrown away, for shock value. They didn't want the character for a while, so they came up with a way for her to go out with a bang. Which wasn't an entirely bad thing for Keegan, since she got to do this amazing heel-turn, show just how good she is, get away from Soapville. (The best actor on Days by that point in time, and it's not close). But Duela was a more complete character than this version of Claire. She wasn't crazy--she was using the image of The Joker's Daughter to protect herself, intimidate people, knock them off-balance. Most of the time, she was more in control than the other characters--the only thing that got her off-balance was her growing love for Turner. It's a better performance, more mature. And sadly, not enough people saw it. Not enough time. Damn CW anyway. I was so inspired by Duela's story on the show, I wrote a conclusion to it. It went on a ways. Google "Not Offended, Duela."

Wow. I really can see how she used elements of Claire to create Duela. I bet a lot of it wasn't even scripted--she was doing improv. I also can't believe Claire Brady is scarier than The Joker's Daughter. Well, I watched a lot of Days back in the day, on and off, before Keegan got there--so yeah, I can. Sorry I missed her tenure. Maybe try to catch it in streaming). The hottest of hot messes, and when you're talking daytime, that's saying something.
