Nicely put, but to answer your question why we ride, others ride for the coolest trick, roosting corners, and ton of style for that matter. To each his own and this is Claire's own story -- every other rider has their own.

​@@lamefart I think more trying to get at the fact that most people ride bikes because of the freedom and fun of it. It just seems that there are so many videos out there that just show super cool riding without incorporating the fun that the riders are having into the video. This was just a cool video because it focused more on the freedom for adventure that bikes give us rather than just having a bunch of super sick shots. Everyone enjoys different aspects of the sport but I think that the one thing that everyone enjoys is the freedom that bikes give us. I just really enjoy seeing videos that focus more on the adventure than the riding itself.

@@willwanovich, agreed. I think it hit you that way because this was more mainstream, so to speak, but showed why a rider rides mtb. There are lots of RU-vidrs, smaller content creators, who just record videos of them enjoying their rides. Even RU-vid channels with large following show their passion and why they ride their bikes and share them with their audiences. It's not hard to find. You should get to the another side of RU-vid mountain bikers then. This particular video even have super slomo shots of cool riding while others just showed their rides where they carry their audiences with them and share snippets of why they ride mtb as well. Danny Mac, the Athertons, Seth, Phil, Alexander of Singletrack Sampler, BKXC, BCPOV and Yuka, Syd & Macky, Jordan Boostmaster, Scotty Laughland, etc have been showing us their passion why they love mountainbiking. You just have to find their particular video(s) where they discussed it...
