Sadly, I agree with you. Rational debate is impossible with tRump, and the Republican Party he's transformed. Unfortunately, being an adult and trying to discuss important issues maturely is not an option. tRump needs to be pounded into the dirt in this debate, but Biden doesn't need to hit below the belt, he just needs to speak the truth. Interestingly enough, I live in Europe, and the debate will be broadcast live in the middle of the night on national television. I have no recollection that this has ever happened before… It shows that the stakes couldn’t be higher for Americans, of course, but also the rest of the world, and many European countries, due to the war in Ukraine.

I'm fairly certain Trump will come out speaking calmly and with discipline, but it won't last long. Trump is going to TRY to sound presidential, but I'm hoping Biden will try getting under his skin and getting him to pop off at the mouth like Trump always does, and hopefully Trump comes off as the MOST unhinged ever.
