Flashaholic did a review on this light and after 1 min the light start to step down from high or turbo to the low setting after 2min. Can you confirm this? The camera will probably pick up the PWM flashing artifacts, so say after 3 or 4 mins take a camera shot of the light and see if the PWM has activated from turbo. If so this would make this an effective 107 lumen light,(low setting FL1 lumen output from his lightbox)not the turbo 456 lumens or the high 277 lumens he got from his FL1 and ANSI rated lightbox. I have seen other reviews of this and there seems to be a version with half the runtimes and no stepdown apparent. Ie there was no flashing artifacts on turbo and the run times were about 1 hr on turbo, 2 hr on high and 3 hrs on low even though throughout the mode test the artifacts were present on the high and low mode due to PWM power step down. I'd rather have the no step down and full brightness of whatever mode I choose until low voltage or battery cut off.
Like almost everything made in China....exaggerated claims of brightness and battery life. I just tested mine. Yes, the brightest light steps down to lower setting after couple/few minutes to save energy I guess. Run time about what he said. Now there's counterfeit version out there. Very hard to tell if you got a real version or counterfeit until you test it yourself. Good luck not getting a defective one. There's also better versions mini LED lights out now since these are couple years old already.
I did a review on a much better version of this COB light if you click my name. Step down from Turbo is 278 lumens. Almost triple. Confirmed with a lux meter. Not 109 lumens for the others.@@emilja.4205
Many LED lights dim my pulsing the electricity to the LED. It happens so fast that humans can't see it. It is sometimes picked up by cameras and other times not. It looks normal in person.
I stuck it in the freezer for a few hours and it worked fine. You don't want to charge this or any other device with a lithium battery if it is at or below freezing temp. It can damage the battery which in a worse case scenario could cause a fire.
WORST EVER! Let me tell you why. It only stays at full brightness for about a minute or so, before it throttles back the brightness to minimum, presumably due to overheating management. It sneakily dims gradually over the course of about ten seconds or so. Thought I was crazy. Is it not as bright? I must be crazy. Nope. Sneaky little... I thought they were the greatest things ever at first, and ended up buying seven of them from three different sellers, but they're all the same crap. Didn't discover it until after the return window closed.

Either Way, You’ll Be A Loser Like Me. 😡 Well… There Are 3 Important Reasons Behind My Suggestion And Based On My Own Testing, I'll Never Recommend You To Buy This Beautiful Piece Of Trash Without Your Acknowledgement. 😔 Firstly, The Most Critical Problem I've Found Is That, After 1 Or 2 Minutes Of Using This Light Will Start Dimming Suddenly And Will Automatically Go Into Dimming Mode (Candlelight Position) Within The Next 3 Minutes, Which Is The Most Annoying Part Of This Light. 😡 Secondly, I've Observed Closely That, Its Charge Lasts Only For 10 To 20 Minutes If I Use It Irregularly. I Mean, If I Need To Search Something In My Room In A Dark Environment, At This Moment I've Turned It On For A Shorter Period Of Time For Searching My Thing And Again I've Turned It Off Within A Minute After Finding My Thing. Like This, The Charge Has Last For 10 To 20 Minutes As I've Experienced. 😡 Thirdly, The Worst Problem I've Faced Is That, For Getting A Better Output, I Thought If I Kept This Light Connected To A Power Bank All The Time (At Charging Mode) As A Direct Source Of Electricity, Maybe I'd Get A Slightly Better Result From My Previous Experience. But Alas, In This Case The Output Result Also Comes Out The Same. 😡 I Mean… After Continuous Use For Below 10 Minutes While It Is Charging At The Power Bank, It Has Again Started To Decrease Its Light Down To The Candlelight Position Within The Next 5 Minutes Of Time, Which Will Make You Extremely Uncomfortable And Unhappy With This Shitty Thing. 😡 So I'm Never Going To Suggest Any Of You To Buy This Cheap Chinese Tech, By Wasting Your Most Valuable Money. 😶 Thank You Very Much. 🚩
