EDC 2.10 (1) (English) (Boylstead) || Example 2.22
A clamper is a network constructed of a diode, a resistor, and a capacitor that shifts a
waveform to a different dc level without changing the appearance of the applied signal.
The video explains a very simple technique of drawing output wave of a clamper circuit.
The simplest of clamper networks is provided in Fig. 2.89

What happens if we introduce a series resistor in the input side and for time varying square wave input signal, how to calculate R and C (if the input signal frequency is around 1MHz how the circuit behaves and what type of diode we have to chose ?).

15:18 wrong answer bcz capacitor polarity had been taken wrong it should be - + instead of +-

We are just calling the voltage across the Capacitor as Vc. When we are getting the answer as negative. If you take it as -Vc, you will get answer as positive. So it does not really matter, as long as you understand and plot accordingly.
