I have had two spring blocks fail before the replacement arrived ...but they were weak , ready to break springs...most door dudes have no idea what this is
We were able to get back out there with no failure. I think we've maybe had like 1 fail on us, but that was because we probably didn't tighten enough so our fault. Most people dont realize that these companies need to have their door running!
Wear and tear i believe. Door was really old and we are replacing it. but when we clamped the spring the door balanced great. I was able to lift it by myself with ease.
