There's something about the movie, The Cell, that's a chaotic mixture of erotic, powerful, demented, yet disturbingly beautiful. The visuals never fail to awe me for a movie made in 2000.
did you ever watch this guys other movie called "The Fall"? It is far better. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rEi-v6aJD7Q.html&ab_channel=MOVIEPREDICTOR
I was too scared to watch this when I was a kid, and remember switching movie theaters to watch Godzilla instead lmao Watched it as an adult and damn, just as messed up as I remember lol, amazing film though for sure.
@@TobaisEnstromDJ baraka had great cinematography. That dead can dance song “host of seraphim” really fit the movie. When these globalist elite want to cull the masses, I can see why, yet they are the ones largely responsible for creating the mess we are in today. The factory farm scene really disgusted me. Speaking of the chanting scene, if you’ve heard of Jamie XX, his track “oh my gosh” really mimics it but in a different sort of way. Worth a watch.
It's odd. For a movie it needs story and a lot of other 'elements' that 'The Cell' couldn't do, but there's something there that is so amazing. It's a shame that it can't be a 'work of art' in it's own right, given... as a movie... it wasn't great. But there is something 'great' there that's behind the requirements of a movie.
I suffer from something called derealization, and I constantly find myself going back to events in my past, as If I was in a dream, and nothing feels real and I feel like I'm stuck there, in an eternal loop, even of things that happen just 1 year ago, me abusing substances, feeling like I'm not there, is eerie, this video along with the song reminds of all that, and strangely it doesn't make me feel bad, or triggers me, it soothes me, like when you sit on the tub full of warm water. It's like I'm watching a dream that isn't mine, that I never had. I really love this.
Escapism, fantasizing and daydreaming. It's all coping mechanisms developed as a child to deal with our needs not being fulfilled. The film is called the cell, it covers those areas it's a horror/thriller so I don't know if you wanna watch it.
I'm amazed at how even 20 years later... the visuals in this movie surpass most cgi today, since back then they actually still used make up. What a shame. This one's a gem.
+XxRaMb0xPaTcHXx i would have disagreed but after watching i was really impressed with the video. at first i did not like the fast cuts and thought it was rather lazy, but then you notice so much detail in a shot that is on the screen for less than half a second.... while it hurts my brain it really is beautiful
This is one of the best videos on RU-vid. The fact that this movie is so aesthetically pleasing by itself and Clam's Gorilla is full of emotional crest and trough isn't even the reason. With all that potential, one can either blossom or bomb as an editor of these two art pieces and Ryan fucking owned it. 0:23 to 0:37 where the video syncs to song build up= hell yes. 0:52 where red coil matches metallic synth in song= hell yes. 0:59 black out matches oscillating voice. 1:06 Music calms and Ryan picks more swetter emotion shots of the movie by alternating close contact of JLO and Vince Vaughn with a white husky puppy. 1:21 again blackout to beat sync. 1:27 beat is dropped and contrast of man and underwater woman captivates you....1:37 Bam back into it...thats not even half the video and I can't forget to mention that every shot is changed on the beat or even half beats. I mean fuck, there needs to be more credit to the editor.
+Angels2apples Well to be fair, such basic edits as cutting a different clip or no clip to beats is really oldschool and nothing special; so what's left in that description is the puppy for emotions, which was nice.
even after closley 15 years of depresion and some not knowing reason why i misloving myselfso much. i finnally found sort of mental peace and was accepting true being of myself. now this song gives me thought of acceptance and peace. but back in the days of release it was guide. guide that helped me, that rope in a mud i found to grasp on. and every other withchouse music really helped me to stay here. and anyone who is struggling know in the end its worth it
This video is art. The music and visuals come together perfectly. I think I've watched it at least 50 times and there's no better way it could be done.
I had watched this movie when I was very young and had dreams about it. I remembered those dreams for years but wasn't sure where they were from. Then I saw the video to this song and quickly realized it was from "The Cell". I of course watched the movie afterwards and man....made my crazy dreams make a lot of sense. This movie is both traumatic and beautiful
such a haunting and demented movie, but so beautiful and mesmerizing. a perfect choice to pair with this song. grand work. i'll be returning to this soon.
Had much better and more complex experience watching this video than watching the movie itself. Very disappointed by the movie but I keep coming back to rewatch this video. Good job!
5 star movie! love The Cell, glad somebody finally put a mix of it up. Really you should watch it, I know I've seen it at least 100 times and always see or experience something different. A personal culture classic.
I come back and watch this every single day. Much props to the editor, it's like the perfect music video for Clam's song. Plus, love The Cell. Pure magic.
***** yeah its called the cell, i didnt realise that guy was in it, i think his names Vince something, the big american movie star, its a really good film on acid
I first saw this video while tripping on LSD, I thought to stay away from it at first because I knew the film The Cell had a lot of very dark visuals, but after watching the Lucid Video for the song 'All I Need' I wanted to listen to more Clams Casino, and I was drawn by the gorgeous Jennifer Lopez. Despite the temptation of being pulled into a very negative head space I managed to find a real beauty in a lot of the imagery in this video, and although the music is quite heavy and oppressive I didn't find it at all overwhelming, I don't quite know how to explain it or best put it into words but I really found the music and darkly seductive images of J-Lo to have quite a profound impact on me. Many thanks for the upload.
Yes bro dmt lsd or salvia or mdma clmas casino this music always makes hallucinations in the trip this types of cortos being concionounes makes me see another beutiful reallity
I accidently watched this movie when i was like 8 or something (i am 19 now) and i got so disturbed and traumatized for a while until i repressed it and then when i was listening to this song now and just glimsed at the music video i realized oh shit this is that movie! Now that i am a bit older i dont find the music video hard to watch at all but whenever i hear this song now on my cellphone i feel a little bit sick in my stomache. Funny how that works with childhood memories. Great combo and edit tho.
Yes! I just ran inside and asked my boyfriend if he remembered this movie. I was sitting outside watching this and all of a sudden it him me. This movie fucked my head up as a child and it's been yeeeeeears since I even thought of this movie, but now it makes me think what other shit I repressed and can't recall right now
This song will never EVER lose what it does for a part of my soul. The part, feels like past experiences, emotions the pain transcended to other lifes. The beauty of life and joy. Music is truly unlocking
My mom likes this. I put her on. Thank you for putting me on different genres growing up without you I would have never had the ear for beautiful music 💙💙💙💙💙
Love the movie The Cell. For those that are occultists. The movie The Cell is a perfect representation of the Qliphoth. The realms of anti-creation on the backside of the Tree of Life (Qabalah). The Tree of Knowledge or The Tree of Death.
The imagery from The Cell was divine and I only watched it because of the video and Clams Casino, without the description I wouldn't have realized this all came from the same movie. I may have burned out all the synapses of the people who've watched it while tripping though, so props.
This video made me watch this movie. Super worth it. This video is a work of art and so is this film, god I love it and will always come back to it after all these years💖💖💖
I was watching it on acid high my heart rate goes up like jet plane it was really really intense for my brain and for my whole body.. my ears were catching even the most silent sounds hard breathing and eyes open wide was thing that i couldn't stop
Every frame a work of art. Every single one. All in all, "The cell" was a mediocre movie, but damn - didn't it look FUCKING awesome? Great music, BTW; nice mash
@@crystaleunoia3974 it is. The cinematograpy was the only interesting thing about it. It's a shame because it had so much potential. The visuals were (still are to this day) groundbreaking.
Personally this tune makes me feel like a sudden powerful knowledge is going to be found if you seek it , a certain passion is going to be released and recognized. It’s fun what music can make you feel
I found that song "Im God" years back and love it, Im founding out just now that clams casino has loads of other awesome songs! Thank you for the upload!
