Season 5 SPOILERS
Consider this video to be part 2 of Clan Fraser || Je Suis Prest. I liked how we were reminded of how central Claire is to all the clan in this finale.
Season 5 has been fantastic! Each character had their own episode and showcased how great and wonderfully produced the show is. Season 1 will always be the best In my opinion. I can only think of a few things I'd liked to have seen more of, but overall this has been great to watch. Looking forward to what unfolds next season!

Beth and Randall (This Is Us) are the only other couple I would put up there. Jack and Rebecca (also This Is Us) would probably be 3rd.

Neither have I in 2022. IMO what makes them so great is that, time traveling aside, they have a realistic dynamic as a couple. They each bring their own strengths into the relationship, and each have their own weaknesses. They respect and value those respective strengths, and they understand and cover those weaknesses. They have their tiffs, and originally a lot of cultural barriers, but they worked to overcome them, and in so doing developed a deep mutual trust and respect to complement their passionate love for each other. Their whole relationship is best encapsulated by Jamie's line at the end of Claire's rescue from Lionel's men about how he does her killing for her - he knows she swore an oath to do no harm, he respects it, so he takes it upon himself to do the unseemly yet necessary things to protect her. And because of what they've accomplished as a couple, he's not alone in that.

Am I the only one obsessed with that scene where Germain tells them the bad man took Grandmama like he's so cute and that fear in Fergus's eyes when he looks up at Jamie!!! I love this cast so much!!!!

The rape storylines of outlander is in my opinion kicking a dead horse at this point. We have had several depictions of it throughout the course of the show that it's simply unrealistic for Claire to be gang raped. I think it's lazy writing

I do see where you’re coming from. We already knew how strong Claire is and how much she’s been through already. There’s nothing more to prove. They could’ve made Bonnet as the finale rather.

I agree, it wasn’t a gang rape in the original story. The story is about a strong woman deeply in love, that episode detracted from the premise.

Wow every member of the Fraser family has been raped, Jamie, Claire, Fergus and Brianna. At some point they’ve all blamed themselves. Such a strong family. They all know the pain of being assaulted
