Clans are groups of players who support each other through troops or advice. They can join clans after rebuilding the Clan Castle building. Clan wars are a major component of Clash of Clans, where clan leaders and co-leaders begin wars against other clans. Players receive stars based on the amount of destruction they cause to the opposing clan's base. The team with the most stars at the end of the war day is declared victorious. Players receive bonus war loot based on their attacks. War sizes include 50v50, 40v40, 30v30, 25v25, 20v20, 15v15, 10v10, and 5v5. In 2018, Clan War Leagues were introduced, allowing clans to advance to the next league and earn medals.
