LOVE, LOVE, LOVE CLANADONIA!!! CHEERS, from an American Gordon Highlander! P.S. I Love Scotland; a beautiful, majestic, serene Country! Much Love, from Sacramento, California.
I congratulate you, you are excellent, I adore all of you, especially the bearded man, to tell him that he is an authentic man, his enthusiasm is unique and wonderful, how he dances fascinates me, he always continues like this, I am his fan of utededs. Mexico City.
My ancestors came from Scotland. My dream is to go there, and more so now just to see them in person. I love the drums and pipes, I feel my ancestors with me
I know my family game from Scotland and Ireland but I know I have to have more Scotland in me. My heart just jumps out of my chest when I hear Music from Scotland. What a joy guys. Well Drummed. Rock On!!!
These guys are definitely on my bucket list. I've watched every video I could find 100x and can honestly say that's the drunkest I've ever seen the old fella 😂😂😂 They are amazing people!! 👍
I am an Armenian and we have the Davool (drums) and zoorna (a large flute like instrument)every time it is played as if my ancestors come alive in me . I feel their joy their sorrow, can’t stop dancing.😊I love your music .
I have seen this happen before. When the drums compete against another instrument. You never win against drums. You never win... This video was awesome!
@@mollyr.goates8097 lol, listen to an angry group of 12 year old play an orchestral arrangement and if the brass section isn't big, drums are the only thing heard. I swear 7th grade for me was just a contest of whose instrument is louder.
Pipes and drums always seemed to hit me hard, even as a child. Then I regained contact with my father and discovered that he was a Dewar. (Or at least his mother, my grandmother, was. Yes, the whisky Dewar's.) Suddenly it all fell into place. Now, whenever I hear them it makes sense and I no longer care when I tear up. It's who I am.
Imagine being a soldier centuries ago, knowing the Scots were about to attack, and you hear the dreadful sound of hundreds of pipes and drums coming toward you. The effect must have been terrifying. Good thing today we can relax and enjoy it as music instead of a weapon of war!
@@trackie1957 Even at Culloden, they were formidable. They were just outgunned and their French allies betrayed them. If the clans and the French had attacked together they would have won.
