I was always amazed at how he traps a ball that is coming to him at lightning speed, then strikes the hell out of it!!! Pure class from an almost forgotten era!
Its really sad how the 90s are being forgotten. Just like in many other sports, the 90s usually starts with an older style, and by the end of the decade it's almost modern. Exact same with football, the 90s were the first years of modern football; the brink of modernity
well, what can I say, one of the greatest ever but sadly a few would know, because the media totally ignored him. in my books one of the GREATEST ever played football.
yea... I remember... while everyone was busy getting mesmerised by beckham's goal from the halfway mark, i was getting stunned by Seedorf's goal. Pure class and power. One of the most underrated players. He was never in the limelight. One of the best midfielders imho. I just hope he is enjoying retirement with his family
@@claytonbatera8607 Seedorf is considered one of the most successful players in UEFA Champions League history, as he is the only player to have won the Champions League with three clubs - once with Ajax, in 1995, once with Real Madrid, in 1998 and twice with AC Milan, in 2003 and 2007.
@reznawfal2746 He wore 10 for Netherlands in 1of their major tournaments as well. I believe he wore all different numbers in Euro96, WC98, Euro2000 & Euro2004 (didn't qualify for WC2002).
I see everyone is quite amazed by these goals, but he was just a player of a superior category, my favourite midfielder of all times. I followed every single match of his AC Milan years and also tried to follow him when he moved to Botafogo where he really showed great football despite his age. His movements, passes, dribblings, speed in ball control... hard to see anyone else so complete today or ever. Only a few.
He was a literal machine, a pure freak of nature blessed with natural raw technical ability. What a player! They simply don't make em like this anymore
This would have to be the best compilation of goals in history!!!!! Who on earth has better pile of goals than this.. absolutely incredible.. power, technique, finesse everything...
@@groovetraxxxgingerbreadman1282 I`m an AC Milan supporter and Italy (Azzurra) supporter and even with all this rivalry with Juventus and France I believe Zidane is GOAT tied with Ronaldo Fenömeno. Although, I respect your opinion. PS: I'm also a Seedorf fan of course.
Unbelievable, just wow! maybe he was not hyped by the media like other world class players but just looking into the list of teams and players that he played with, he was definitely highly rated in the world of football
...at his final career as a player of football he showed up here in Brazil in Botafogo club, man.....I can thell you that he taught how to play brillant football to brazilian coaches ever....!!!
Those players you named. Cruijf, van Basten even guys like Robben, Sneijder, van Persie are shit compared to this maestro! 4 Champions Leagues, beat that before you are even equal to Il Presidente Clarence Seedorf!
Veel plezier om weer dit te aankijken. Zonde dat Seedorf nooit die WC had gewonnen met Holland. Hij heeft well veel gewonnen. Hij staat in mijn top fijf Hollandse speelers. HUP HUP HOLLAND!
Seedorf to mój wzór piłkarza : Strzal , podanie , drybling , technika , przegląd pola , atletyzm , tego dzisiaj brakuje piłkarzom . W swoich najlepszych czasach mało kto mu dorównywał a z Kaka stworzył duet marzeń i sukcesów AC Milan !!!
Never heard of this guy until someone posted his name in one of Glesnes's goal videos. Why the hell isn't he more well renown?!?! HOLY CRAP!!! BEST PURE SHOOTER I'VE EVER SEEN!!!
He was one of a golden generation of Ajax Amsterdam players who made like 7 of his caliber. Most of them were made in their own youth academy ( actually Barca imported the youth academy system from Ajax - Cruyff and the squad that won three consecutive European Cup of champions are a product of exceptional youth academy and when Cruyff went to Barca he installed the Ajax youth system at the club). Van der Saar, Rijkard, Davits, Litmanen, de Boer ( even brothers IIRC), Kluivert. Can't recall all ofc, but i am still sporting their jersey from the 94/95 season. What a team. And ofc Seedorf - what a player.
most of those goals are miles out and his strike was perfectly hard, low...like a f***ing tracer bullet. Unstoppable. What a magnificent player, spanking the ball into the back of the net with pure fire!!! A privilege to have witnessed :)
I never got to watch him play for Real Madrid but definitely saw him play for AC Milan. Literally one of the best midfielder in the history of the sport. Those long shots were just astonishing. Just straight up “wow”.
@@believeinitondeke367 no no no... You don't know of football no is similar you wrong.. Seedorf is more technical more clinical and powerful than Yaya.. Yaya dont have goal like this and only play like midfielder interiors...but seedorf play like more roles in the pitch...midfielder offensive creative..interiors..mixture.. Defensive..wing right and midfielder right...in inter seedorf play many matches like wing right...yaya never play wing right.. Don't compares son.. You don't know nothing.
I happen to be a long time fan of Clarence. Very much happy to be in this company. And hope all of us are above 40 yrs😊. Regarding Seedorf, why bother to dribble when you have a rocket launcher replacing your right leg..!
Пирло+Гаттузо = Зеедорф. Игрок который умел на поле абсолютно всё. Игрок который делал разницу. Игрок который выиграл ЛЧ в трёх разных командах. Единственный в истории футбола.
absolute beast of a player. a canon for a foot. who can run for 90+ mins. built like a small tank. excellent dribbler and touch. a certified winner. won CL with 3 different teams.
Seedorf was heck of a distance shooter. If you gave him room even from 30-40 yards out, it was almost the equivalent of giving room just outside the box for most other players. And the AC Milan team in the early 2000s was absolutely 🔥🔥🔥 It will be hard for Milan to ever create a team like that again; Dida, Cafu, Maldini, Nesta, Costacurta, Pirlo, Gattuso, Seedorf, Kaka, Shevchenko, Inzaghi, Crespo....PHEW! 😪
It’s always interesting the regularity with which players seem to play for both AC Milan and Inter Milan. It rarely happens in the EPL for example that players make the move to the biggest rivals. They even share a stadium.
How seedorf haven't gotten ballon d'or according all his exceptional achievement? What a brillant and gentleman player he has been! Infairness in big time.
0:24 to 0:27 ... it takes a pure class seasoned player to pull that off. I hardly see any player do that nowadays. Look at the reaction time between him receiving the ball, and striking it.
Era un crack y le pegaba al balón de una manera bestial . Yo creo el y Roberto Carlos son los mejores en el golpeo de balón a larga distancia. Pecarbucano es aparte porque el es el maestro a balón parado .
Sedorf we have loved this guy since we were kids in Iraq and right now he is a Muslim brother. May Allah guide all the unbelied people to The religion of peace (Islam) Ameen ❤🎉
I`ve only ever watched Seedorf at the end of his career. The last 2-3 years before he retired at Milan. He was shit for 90% of the game but he would create those 1-2 magical chances in a game that would win you the tough game. He seems a lot more OP during his younger days.
